For the cut ending for James’ questline, it would’ve been more interesting and tragic if he didn’t die either way, and actually was a moral dilemma where choosing to spare him would cause him to suffer for the rest of his life as a special kind of mutant.
I agree. That could've been very interesting. I hope the next entry has moral dilemmas and is a little more on the grim side. Fallout 4 feels like Disneyland at a certain point. Still love it though of course.

I think a lot of this list was simply forgotten to be added to the final game during the production rush. Also, this content was not added later because Bethesda is known for its bad attitude towards already released projects. They still haven't fixed a few primitive bugs in Skyrim.
I think if they would decide to keep Matchmaker quest - they should either made Derek looks older or Machete looks younger - otherwise this whole situation kinda feels wrong.
The Rivet city one would’ve been cool especially if there was a choice to either just destroy the ship with the enclave or wipe it out and then with the broken steel dlc when you go there it’s a new kind of settlement

It's an arduous process and can be frustrating but if you own both FO3 and FNV game of the year editions you can merge them together with the Tale of Two Wastelands mod. Let's you play the entirety of Fallout 3 and it's DLC and is pretty stable, plus it introduces some QOL changes from New Vegas into the game (iron sights, crafting etc). Would highly recommend.

That's blatantly on this video and channel. They were blatantly originally meant to be the same models and age (young adults, meaning the model used for Derek would have looked much older and more like Sticky who is 16 but looks like a 30 year old man but shorter) but as the dialogue and interaction was cut, the age of machete could be changed as it' was no longer relavent to keep her as 16 anymore to coincide with the 15 year old Derek.
I mean I get the appeal of age gap romance, but they could make him looks like a young (older than 18 younger than 30) man and her looks like adult (older than 30 younger than 60 woman) and made it into something romanting and not something which feels like child predator scenario.
Feel like they woulda done the Machete one if you know... she wasn't an adult female model. Feel like if they had managed to make her look like a 14 or 15 year old teenager it would've made more sense for something of an American and British audience
James turning into a super mutant seems like a terrible idea, outside the shock value. Lone Wanderer's dad is supposed to be a brilliant scientist, is already bad enough the way he stupidly kills himself in the main game, if they went with the super mutant route it would have been a greater insult to his intelligence.
The context to it is that he was captured and forcibly turned into a super mutant and you were trying to save him before that happened only to find him half mutated
