Look no further than the "Green Knight Incident" where Morgan orchestrated a convoluted plan to hire an immortal fae hitman to challenge Arthur, but her son Gawain did the stupid instead and challenged him in Arthur's place. The idea is that the Green Knight will take one hit, and if he survives that hit, will return the blow in exactly a year and a day with twice the interest. Gawain's singular brain cell - not aided at all by the fact that Green Knight just called the king he simps for trash tier and a coward - worked overtime and produced a brilliant plan, that plan failed spectacularly. He swung with all of his mountain gorilla strength into the legendary monke smash and cleanly decapitated the Green Knight, thinking that if he's dead then there's no way that he will have to face the challenge. Green Knight be like No U and picked up his decapitated head, taunting Gawain to not be late when the time comes to return the blow, he refused to elaborate further and left. Gawain will not be able to survive the Monke Smash 2x. Now, this was *NOT* part of Morgan's plan, who intended to have Arthur do it instead and have Guinevere be scared to death from the stress. But unfortunately, now she has to bail Gawain's shiny silverback ass outta there before he suddenly finds himself a head shorter. She cannot cancel the contract with the Green Knight. A convoluted game of exchanges ensues, where she secretly acts as a foreign lady to seduce her own son (She is not above this) in an attempt to save him from getting monke'd into oblivion. So it goes, Green Knight, under the alias of a lord of a castle, will go out hunting for game over the course of three days, every catch he finds will belong to Gawain if he can give the Green Knight whatever he has found during that day. On the First day, Gawain gave him a kiss on the cheek because that's what he got from the lady of the castle (Morgan) when she pretended to hit on him, which Gawain politely refused. On the Second day two kisses were given to the Green Knight, because Morgan was getting a little *TOO IN-CHARACTER* but still was refused by Gawain. And on the third day, Morgan gave him a sash that gives him invincibility and three kisses, Gawain refused for the last time and gave the Knight the three kisses, thus remaining proper to the end. But still hid the magical sash to himself, thinking it may save him even if he feels guilty for the cowardice. However, in the end it worked out, Gawain survived the Monke Smash miraculously, the Green Knight already knew about the sash but found him to be quite a swell guy and forgave him because even if Gawain may not be fearless and lied about the sash to keep his head, he's still a good lad who just wants to do good and had the integrity to *Not* rail another man's supposed wife despite having other normal character flaws like flinching at his own demise, they got to know each other a bit thanks to Morgan's scheme and became all buddy-buddy afterward. The moral of the story is about Gawain's human flaws and how he's far from the perfect Knight of the Round yet still has the earnestness to do his best despite it, and sometimes that's enough. So, anyway, the real thing to take from here is that Morgan's goals are beyond our understanding, I also conclude that she's waaaaaaaaay into the Sweet Home Alabama thing for her own good, and that she's got plans upon plans to make her own life difficult because they all backfires. Arthurian Mythos are whack yo.
if i remember corectly, Galehaut only joined the knights of the round table because he was possibly gay over Lancelot so if Galehaut confessed, Lancelot would have not done the guenivere steal thing

Galehault is said to rival King Arthur in Strength, and could've easily been a major threat to his rule had he not followed Lancelot into the Round. There are a plethora of other melting points and relationships just waiting in line if the Guinevere fiasco didn't happen, many of them with ol' Lot' name on it. Galehault would always side with Lancelot because he's just that dedicated, and that would be bad when he's basically as powerful as Arthur.
