[천지일보=홍보영 기자] 가자지구 북부의 자발리아 난민수용단지에 대한 이스라엘 미사일 폭격이 계속되면서 28명이 목숨을 잃은 것으로 집계됐다. 이스라엘은 이 지역 주민들을 향해 서부 가자시티로 피난하라고 대피령을 내렸다.
신화통신에 따르면 이스라엘군의 아비차이 아드레이 대변인은 이 날 소셜 미디어 X를 통해 이스라엘군의 자발리아 공격 소식을 알렸다고 뉴시스는 보도했다.
아드레이 대변인은 “이스라엘군은 자발리아에서 ●{사보타지}●에 나선 저항군 조직을 소탕했다”며 “이스라엘군은 이 곳 건물들의 안에 있는 이 무장세력과 충돌, 전투를 벌인 끝에 저항분자들을 사살했다. 이들은 건물 옥상으로 달아나 그 곳에서 이스라엘군을 향해 사격을 가했다”고 밝혔다.

신화통신에 따르면 이 날 앞서 팔레스타인 의료진 소식통들은 이스라엘군의 자발리아 난민 수용소 건물들에 대한 공격으로 여성과 어린이 등 최소 28명이 살해 당했다. 또 이날 이스라엘 전폭기들이 난민촌의 임시 대피소와 주거용 건물들 여러 채를 목표로 미사일을 발사한 것으로 전해진다. 또 난민 단지에서는 여러 곳에서 대폭발이 일어났으며 여러 날 동안 이어진 이스라엘의 군사 진입 작전이 이 날도 계속됐다는 주민들의 소식이 나왔다.
