My longtime friend who I’ve known for 15 years who I’ve known since 1st grade wanted to start coming to church so she came with my family today and she enjoyed it. She was wanting to chose either Episcopal or Catholic and she joined us today and we made her feel welcomed
@@JaredKauffman also in the Episcopal Church we have something called invite welcome connect which my mom is the chair of at our church our presiding Bishop came up with it and now this week they are electing the next presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church at the general convention. We elect one every nine years.
All great stuff, Brother Jared! Well done! I'd add that if it's difficult to approach a new person on your own, then have somebody along with you. "Hey, he seems new. Let's go introduce ourselves." 1. It takes the pressure off you to hold the conversation. Instead of holding 50% of the conversation, just hold 33%. ;) 2. It may be that the new person doesn't have something in common with YOU, but with the other person you brought along. Just an idea. I didn't mean to hijack your video! Have a blessed week!
