I wouldn't have accepted anything/anyone other than O'Shea Jackson as his father. As soon a I saw this thumbnail and before I clicked on the video, they came to mind. The resemblance is uncanny and he really did justice to the role.

Watching grace or mamie in an interview it’s crazy how alike they are to meryl. So often they use a mannerism or put an “uhm or uhh” that’s sound exactly like meryl.
I have noticed that children pick up mannerisms from their parents. Even if they aren't raised by their parents. I was adopted and I found that certain mannerisms that I do are identical to my biological mother's mannerisms.

It's because when there's a celebrity "tetra," they meet ahead of time to draw straws and see which one will be the LEAST famous. There's some magic spell which requires that one be less so than the others, or NONE of them will be famous. It happened with Pine, Hemsworth, Evans, and Pratt, with Biel, Alba, Simpson, and Szohr. Leigh, Tilly, Runyon, and Beals allegedly thought they could do an end run around the spell and (so the legend goes) went to a voodoo woman to break the spell. But apparently, the result was that _anyone_ with their first name must now become famous, hence Holliday, Connelly, Love-Hewitt, Aniston, Lopez, Garner, Lawrence, Grey, McCarthy, Morrison, Lien, Esposito, Hudson, Hale, and even Coolidge.

I knew about a few of these. I knew that the two women playing Mary Cooper were mother and daughter, that Robert Downey Jr was in a movie with his son and and that Eva Amurri was in a few things with her mother. But honestly, I had no idea that Vin Diesel’s son was in a Fast and Furious movie, let alone playing a younger version of the character his dad played for 20 years. That is insane.
They're both small roles but in Black Panther young King T'Chaka was played by John Kani's son Atandwa, and in Ant Man & the Wasp young Bill Foster was played by Laurence Fishburne's son Langston.

I know this video is a year old but if you ever make another list you should definitely add Brad Dorif and his daughter to this list because of the Chucky series. Most people know that she has been in the series for a few years as Neka but in the series she plays Neka as well as possessed Charles Lee Ray possessing the body but she also plays a younger Charles in scenes leading up to and after he meets Tiffany Valentine. She looks so much like Brad as Charles in these scenes you almost have to do a double take to recognize her in the roll. Though her dad still does the voice over in those scenes it’s so fun to see chucky runs in the blood lol.

In the _Star Trek: The Next Generation_ episode "The Inner Light," Daniel Stewart plays Batai (the younger), son of Caemon, which was the identity Picard lived through in order to bear witness to the final decades of a doomed people. Picard, of course was played by Patrick Stewart, so although Picard never had children, and Caemon may not even have been an actual person, it would be tough to argue against the notion that David Stewart played his father's character's son in that episode.
