Gonna add that to my 19’ Iron. Just got done with my “Block” mods to my dream machine. Lepera, Rineharts, drag bar, sweet flipped mirrors, tank lift and led headlight. I wanna be a BLOCKHEAD when I grow up lol! (Lol I’m 53) thanks for the install vid. All your vids have been my “Mod manual”

The rear left-side of a Sportster has always looked a little plain to me and in need of something. The right-side has the glorious pipes. I added a swing arm bag to my 2003 and it looks sweet and fills in the gap. Keep making the videos. Thanks!

This works amazingly well, HOWEVER trying to mount this bag like this with Viking bag saddle bags is INCREDIBLY tight. Still works amazing though.

So I installed one on each side. What I found when installing the bags is that swapping the rear peg mounts and then inverting them. At least for the 2004-06 models. Installing them this way lowers the mounts and when you pull them in, they pull in towards the front instead of jamming up against the bags.

We just added this exact same bike to our garage(wife’s bike). I sent this video to my wife after she ordered herself a swing arm bag. She loved being able to install it using this video. Best part about the home thing is I didn’t hafta get mean looks for giving her unwanted advice lol.

Just got mine W&M swingarm in the mail this morning. Grabbed it after seeing your description video. This "how to install" came at the right moment! I'm ready for my install this evening but...my side cover seems pretty sturdy to be removed...it could be nicer if you've showed out that phase. Anyway thanks for your amazing vlog and work. Keep on with same passion dude. Greetings from Italy

Side cover just pops off, give it a tug from the top. If you have the new cover snaps, you'll need to press those up to free the cover, those hold much tighter. Enjoy your bag!

I don’t even have a Harley Davidson. If I did it would be this model and would definitely rock that bag. My first bike is a 01’ Shadow Spirit 750cc. I had saddlebags on it for a while but always felt like they were way too big. Not sure this bag would fit that bike but I love how low profile it is. Pretty much only riding my Grom these days…

If ya got two straps to frame... which in theory, frame doesn’t move .... and one strap to swing arm ... which in theory articulates up and down ... isn’t that going to cause stretching or breaking of straps, because ya tightened those straps pretty good. Once ya riding and swing arm moves up and down, won’t that cause a problem.

Do you have a link to the cover you mentioned? I'm looking for one that would fit in there. Thanks!

Yo blockhead you’ve really gotten me into motorcycles I get my license in about a year and I have been thinking about getting the Indian scout bobber I saw that you did a review on it and wanted to know if you think that it’s a good beginner bike or not

The 2020 Scout Bobber was the first bike I rode after I got my license. That bike has SO much power behind it, but it's very manageable. I was practicing clutch control and low speed maneuvers on it, it was going like 15 mph from just the clutch, but it was very responsive. One twist of the throttle in 3rd gear and I was going over 70. The only downside I saw with the bobber was that I was sliding off of the hard seat a lot. I'm gonna buy a Scout 60 instead just because they're more comfortable for me, but there's no difference in the engines. I'm 6'2 also

I’ve been riding the Scout Sixty Bobber for a couple months now. Not new to riding but yes, great starter bike. Lots of power when needed but not crazy either. Swapped the seat to the Indian comfort (everyone does) and plan to swap to the mini apes (6’2”). Highly recommend the Sixty, plenty of power compared to the regular bobber, but $2k cheaper and ALL blacked out! “Ride safe and stay vigilant!”
