The satchels the pioneers throw make zero sense. If you run away before they even throw it, how does it follow you? Its like it's heat sinking. So stupid
I dont think the howitzer avail is an issue, at longer ranges like this they are quite poor. Each group of 3 he is using and if he has arty leader is some 300pts of arty, and he had multiples of them so likely over 500pts invested in arty and all of that 500pts did barely anything, like pin some aa and kill an at gun? That is enough point disadvantage to lose a game. If he uses them should be closer to frontline and frontline support and moving then against coutnerbat. you could see his frontline was very understaffed. But the power of raider kept it from collapsing, not seeing enemy is so bonkers. The center unit was a great example. Either way well played beating ATF
Each group of 3 arty is only 165 points. I can bring in 15 arty pieces with 1 card. Every minute of juggernaut you can bring 3 arty pieces. It gets a bit ridiculous. You can lock down whole sections of the map like that. I'm usually better at my arty play but got a bit panicky. If this game got to 50 minutes (if I traded better in A and B it could have) I can guarantee you would have seen how insane it is. They don't even need to kill, just stun everything.

Very well played! The only way to beat the pack arty is to ignore it. Use your own arty on the extreme back line and spaced far away from one another. Use it only for pushes. In a 1v1 you can't counter battery that many cheap 75mm pack arty.

When you are aiming for arty that isn't targeted by "counter battery", hit them with "defensive fire" instead.

8th cav is allied and this is the generals tournament where he is playing on the axis side.
1st AB is still potent, but just not efficient any more. So much of the time you are paying 35pts for two mediocre MG infantry.
