Very cool and tuff SC Truck but for the high price tag of $700 you would think it would come with a motor fan and Bluetooth module because it has all of the sensors installed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It needs a motor fan. I ran 2 back to back 4s and had it thermal and it’s 55 degrees out.
And metal gear servo..
Should be able to tune traxxas stuff like castle at this point

Looks amazing and could use some inner fenders for sure.
After you get ur bearings wet, use air compressor and then lube/oil then. I do this everytine with silicone dry lube & they last forever
Yep, I like that WD40 Dry Lube. No reason to spend an hour with a toothbrush cleaning up.
Yes especially with traxxas HCG you can really get away with a lot water and mud , bearings pretty protected . But I always do same regardless, air compressor than silicone oil and if it’s a beater I’m doing crazy stuff like this than wd 40 before and after but wd 40 really cleans out the grease and little strong for the house , so depending how nice your rcs are kept and what your doing . Key is using a air compressor and most people don’t

That things a tank, did it need any bearings replaced after?
It looks awesome and I love the platform having a Maxx and XMaxx but man is it crashy on that suspension. Shock setup just doesn't look up to the job on the jumps. Compare with something like a Mojave on the M2C bladderless setup that just floats with minimal rebound. Anybody figured out the suspension yet?
It’s stable until you try to turn lol. It needs to be run on a loose surface like that track or will just roll
That back suspension.... it reminds of one of the small 16th scale trucks when it lands and bounces and the way it twist when it jumps reminds me of my SBR 2.0. I know it's exciting when Traxxas releases an actual new rig since it so rarely happens but this just misses the mark for me personally. Having both Mojave's already helps also. I can't see anything this does better than either to justify buying it. Is anyone who has a Mojave gonna buy this?
❤❤I FOUND IF YOU MAKE SURE YOU DONT PRESSURE CLEAN THE ESC ITS JUST FINE HITTING ALL THE TRAXXAS RC LINEUP WITH PRESSURECLEANER ,,LOVE TRAXXAS ,OWNED A TON OF THEM BUT NEVER FROM NEW ,,ALWAYS SECONDHAND FROM THE LOCAL PAWN SHOP ,,,GET THEM HALF THE PRICE OR LESS SOMETIMES .
You guys should cut the windshield and windows out and have a first person cam

Still way too much plastic for 700 bucks plus the esc and plastic servo won’t last long for sure for the price go with an arrma Mojave 6s

Oh yea I see 😂yep my son everyday how come not using rcs in yard. , because I only use a rc that’s old beat up , I must say I’m able to clean the traxxas like these guys did really can’t do that with other rcs but yea once I do this they’re no longer coming in the house

Overall you still wanna buy x maxx. End game of rc.
So slow and clumsy but it is cool and fun , I’d definitely buy xxmaxx over this for few hundred more . The xxmaxx going be z1200 soon and still need a better esc . But I’d say one best to use everyday for fun cheap and very easy to use maintenance
