Mainly it's the confirmation that there's more than one nova in the galaxy which no one saw coming, so there could still be more out there for bad guys to use. Novas are capable of rewriting reality as shown by star dream and in kirby superstar, so it'd be bad news if another fell into the wrong hands.
Since Kirby and his mech were merged with the Halberd, it's likely the Keyhole was to eject Kirby and undo the merger. Proved to be what Kirby needed since it allowed him to trigger the GIGA DRILL BREAKER and finish Star Dream.
My headcanon is that meta knight knows Kirby is the true ultimate hero of the world, surpassing even him, and so through the shadows acts as a guardian
So we get the classic Meta Knight boss battle, then we get a Kirby 64 style boss battle, then we see a Dimension W type plot twist, then we finish up with a Star Fox style boss fight with a reference to one of the most overlooked Kirby characters ever...Galactic Nova all in the final battle. Kirby you never cease to amaze me.

Actually, the Halberd wasn't that badly damaged in this one. It only got clipped on the wings in the opening scene and the final part of the boss fight.
Fun fact: Before launching himself against Star Dream with the drill, Kirby screams "KURAE!" which in Japanese literally means "EAT THIS!" That made the scene 1000 times more badass and amazing

Robobot Armor Halberd Mode, the best Final Weapon of all in essence, it's the combination of 3 past Final Weapons: Starship from Superstar and Super Star Ultra cause it's a special vehicle shooter fighting a clockwork comet, Ribbon's Shard Gun fom Kirby 64 cause it's the power of 2 characters (Kirby with Ribbon in 64, with Meta Knight this time) and a special force (Ripple Star's Crystal then, Haltmann's technology now) in an alternate form with a front camera shooting control style and Master from & The Amazing Mirror cause it's Kirby holding the power of Meta Knight in the form of one of his most iconic resources (Galaxia then, the Halberd now)
What I really like is that due to how Star Dreams plating falls apart in pieces, if you're paying attention you could realize it's a Nova before the reveal. However with how much is going on you barely have time to realize it before the final piece falls off

Out of all the crazy reveals the Kirby series has done this is still probably up there. I'm super biased because Superstar Ultra was my second kirby game as a kid (after Amazing Mirror, I love Triple Deluxe for similar reasons to this) but the revelation that there never was just ONE Nova was insane. The amount of horror I faced during the final phase's countdown was unbearable, purely because I was like "oh my god, there's no way I can take down this thing's entire healthbar in three attacks, what do I do?" Until the A button got all rainbowy and I was like "ooooooh, that's what I do"
Honestly, I was a little disappointed that the only true "Bosses" you fight in the Robobot armor were C.O.G.S. and Star Dream, not to mention that those two used completely different mechanics than the other modes. I wanted to see a boss that you could fight by destroying the environment, which was a big part of the armor. Like maybe have a fight where a boss fires projectiles at you and you have to hit them back. Or one where you need to saw off wooden beams so the boss would fall to it's doom, Mario style. It was still a fun game, but come on. No mech vs. mech bosses?
+Quagamerwii SuperUltra ShyGuy I don't really count Gigavolt as a boss. He's more like a miniboss. He has extremely low health and is pretty easy to defeat. Not to mention he gets reused later in the game and he's only slightly stronger then.

in essence, it's the combination of 3 past Final Weapons: Starship from Superstar and Super Star Ultra cause it's a special vehicle shooter fighting a clockwork comet, Ribbon's Shard Gun fom Kirby 64 cause it's the power of 2 characters (Kirby with Ribbon in 64, with Meta Knight this time) and a special force (Ripple Star's Crystal then, Haltmann's technology now) in an alternate form with a front camera shooting control style and Master from & The Amazing Mirror cause it's Kirby holding the power of Meta Knight in the form of one of his most iconic resources (Galaxia then, the Halberd now)

What I really like is that due to how Star Dreams plating falls apart in pieces, if you're paying attention you could realize it's a Nova before the reveal. However with how much is going on you barely have time to realize it before the final piece falls off
Plus, in the attack where Star Dream gains arms and spins around, you can see the Nova's full face for a moment.
Looks like Star Dream was "screwed" and Nova got a "splitting headache" :3

I honestly think it would be cool if they showed some more backstory to the lore of the novas, considering their power and how they have appeared more than once in the Kirby series
They have. Return to Dreamland specifically mentions "Clockwork Stars" (AKA Novas) are a creation of the Ancients. As was the Star Rod and several other powerful artifacts in Kirby history.

This was my first ever Kirby game and I LOVED IT!

Whether you are a fan of kirby or not; that last part of the fight when Kirby separated from the Halberd was really cool.
Out of all the crazy reveals the Kirby series has done this is still probably up there. I'm super biased because Superstar Ultra was my second kirby game as a kid (after Amazing Mirror, I love Triple Deluxe for similar reasons to this) but the revelation that there never was just ONE Nova was insane. Seeing that fucking face genuinely made me sit on the home screen for a few minutes nerding out.

I consider the Star Birth as the ultimate Boss in the franchise, dude, its literally meant to remember all the years with Kirby, and to expand crazily the Lore, Also It stays consistent by only using dark Matter powers, as It was summoned with darkness only.

The amount of horror I faced during the final phase's countdown was unbearable, purely because I was like "oh my god, there's no way I can take down this thing's entire healthbar in three attacks, what do I do?" Until the A button got all rainbowy and I was like "ooooooh, that's what I do"
Honestly, I was a little disappointed that the only true "Bosses" you fight in the Robobot armor were C.O.G.S. and Star Dream, not to mention that those two used completely different mechanics than the other modes. I wanted to see a boss that you could fight by destroying the environment, which was a big part of the armor. Like maybe have a fight where a boss fires projectiles at you and you have to hit them back. Or one where you need to saw off wooden beams so the boss would fall to it's doom, Mario style. It was still a fun game, but come on. No mech vs. mech bosses?
