actually she's released projects and singles every year since she went independent. she's been busy af just not in the mainstream spotlight. i highly recommend her album Songs For You
I have been listening to Tinashe non-stop since 2016. Every single project she's released since then have been forward-thinking and impressive. I honestly think she's one of the best artists right now. And while she is not very mainstream, she just came off ,a Coachella performance and has a really dedicated fanbase at the end of the day. As others said, she's was an independent artist for four years (2019-2023). Even when she was signed, she barely got any label support, which was part of the reason why she went independent in the first place. She recently signed to a recording company, but it is unclear what exactly her contract/deal is. And even though she is "smaller," I think you can really see the influence of her art on her peers and on the KPOP industry. Songs for You is an amazing place to start if you're interested in her as an artist, but if you want more music videos, I'd suggest "Bouncin," "Company," "Save Room For Us," and Needs. They're all off different albums so it should give you a good idea of her work after her first album.

Also, this video is an introduction to the story, you're not supposed to get it from this clip only, that's why it says 2 be continued... but you were right this is based on an apocalyptic environment and somebody is looking for her, watch the next video to get the full context...genius if you ask me, good marketing strategy.
