I’ve been jugging all my life and what I’ve found works all the time is Oscar Meyer Cheese hotdogs and only Oscar Meyer cheese hotdogs. You cut the hotdogs into 4 and let them sit out after cut for a day or 2. They smell bad but work like a charm.
Also cut the tail off and let them bleed out taste way better

I’d love to know some fishing spots on the Brazos river launching from Brazos Park East or FlatRock at the lake. Not your secret spots just a spot I can fish at and catch a few catfish for dinner. I love fishing but I’m not good at it.
It is wonderful to see someone who is able to enjoy life and to be able to provide a meal. Once the garden comes in, you guys will enjoy fresh vegetables.

Devon, overnight might make fish spongy but it certainly works great for pork chops and steak.

Try marinated in dressing then pan fry it with kraft zesty Italian as the oil . Super good,

Easiest was to chop onions if you’re like me and like bigger pieces. Get a apple slicer. We use that to make a poor mans blooming onion too.

Good video but hate to sound petty I just hate when people call Bream “perch” 😭😭😭lol idk why it just bugs me even Though I live in Louisiana and from Alabama and both states have different names for crappie, (LA- sacalaie, Bama-white perch) and another example bowfin aka mud fish (LA- shoepick Bama- Grennel)

I love deep fried catfish fillets, but I love em 10X better since I started bleeding them out. While on the stringer, cut the tails off and throw em back in the water. Wait 5 minutes, then fillet em. You’ll notice much whiter, cleaner meat and they taste so much better!

I have a recipe you have to try on your catfish You can Cut it up or leave the whole But them in a container or if you cut it up into nugent's You use a gallon ziploc bag But cover them in French's mustard And put it in the refrigerator over night Don't know what batter ya'll We use The Fish fry Batter You can batter them and drop 'em in the friar It is amazing I hope to see it in one of your videos Like you always say Eat good
What river is that? I lived in Texas for 3 yrs.....never saw a river with water that wasn't muddy..😆
Looks like an awesome time! Not sure it would be good with fish but maybe give it a try. Last year I started putting Italian dressing and chicken in a vacuum bag. Sealing it and either leaving it in the fridge or freezer. Bar none the best Italian dressing seasoned food ever.

that sir is not perch. that is brim. a pan fish known as bluegill. perch are more narrow and piss all over you. and when you kill the fish hang them and cut their kills to bleed them
