Fished out of fort morgan for the first time this past week. Fishing is hard down in the mobile bay. Massive respect for being able to catch out there. Back home in atlanta now.
I remember finding this channel with under 15k subs and now in a short span you jumped from 100-120k.. Congrats and wishing you even more success. My favorite TH-cam channel!!
I love your channel because myself and a fishing partner do basically the same thing you do. We’re just a little on the dumb side so we will run wayyyyy out in our bay boat! If you get big swim baits 8”+ and put them on 6-8oz jig head, you’ll catch magnum snapper and the occasional grouper. Our average snapper on that swimbait setup is around 15lbs.
I watched one of your previous videos , where you came in due to motion sickness , sea sick. I was a charter boat captain for many years. Had people sick on the boat quite often , including my son . I was talking with my Family doctor several years back , told him how bad my son gets sick while out in the boat fishing . He turned me on to a product called Bonine , it's for people who have or get Vertigo . Bought some at Walmart for like 6$ my son no longer gets sea sick in the boat , nor did my customers. Get you some and try it ! Enjoy your videos !
I have done so much freshwater fishing in my life I have forgotten more fish than I have caught but your videos really give a great and detailed on how to prep your fish for eatin! Good stuff bruh!
Great content! I also live in Baldwin County and you represent us well. You have a true passion for fishing and it comes through on your videos. Super knowledgeable regarding the fish you catch including all the rules and regs of Alabama. Keep up the good work brother!
I fished that very rig during a king mackerel fishing tournament several years ago. Seas were 8-10 feet. We were slow-trolling ladyfish. The barracuda are legit on that rig. We caught a 22lb king head there. A barracuda totally sliced through our money fish right behind the gills like a hot knife through butter.
another great vid...ty! I havent' been on a plane since pre pandemic; before I've only fished the surf (my passion) and the the bays of Florida. In a couple weeks we'll be out in the gulf from Johns Pass/ st Petersburg for wreck/ reef fishing. I love lures, and jigging....what jigs would you recommend??
Man I have been beng watching all your videos. LOL love them. Every thought about doing a "Baits by followers". Like we tell you what to fish with and see what you can catch. For example. I say Marshmallows. You go out and see what you can catch with marshmallows. LOL. Just for fun etc. Make it changeling. Anyway.. Thanks for the content. Ill just keep watching.
Thanks for your videos. I don't fish, but I love watching your videos. If I ever start, I'll be a lot less squirmy about gutting a fish. I thought it would be a lot more yucky. lol
We have taken some real nice kings at that rig! And I love my Dartto I can load and unload in minutes. tie a rope to the release lever and you can do it from in the boat.
Same here!! That rig holds some good ones. And yes good idea. I have my handle set at an angle that makes it easy for me to release it on the forward deck
So much fun watching your videos. I really like the way you mix things up. Different places, techniques and target species. Always entertaining. Thanks.
Yes sir another banger awesome job buddy it’s always a blessing to get it out even if you don’t catch anything or you just catch a few it’s always a blessing
I went to orange beach for vacation last year… I should have done some fishing but never looked into it. I’ve never been saltwater fishing, being from Nebraska
Watching from the UK. Fishing looks amazing your side of the lake. Any Chance we can get a heavy gear fishing video? Also love the merch maybe an embroidered logo? Keep up the quality entertainment 🙏✝
Great video as always! I love watching your videos. Its always fun to watch you fish💪 I notice that the T-top was not on the boat.did you remove it? once again love you watching your videos.
What's nice about fishing in the Gulf of Mexico they're fish you can eat there that you can't eat in the North. A lot of Southern Gulf fish don't freeze well.
Thanks for putting such great Videos up I love fishing.I live in Mobile and go to Fort Morgan and fish all the time.If you ever need help paying for gas let me know .Keep up the great vids.
Yes!! I believe there's no wrong way to cook a Pompano as long as you don't waste any meat. The best meat on the Pompano (in my opinion) is the head meat. Sweetest bite on the fish
I do not currently run charters but I do have a few friends that run charter trips I can recommend: 1) Southern Sun Fishing Charters (251) 714-3098 Capt. Charlie 2) Great Southern Fishing Charters (256) 710-9028 Capt. Ben 3) Liquid Force Fishing Charters (251) 233-5731 Capt. Colton They are all excellent Captains. Best to call and find out availability. Be sure to mention Bama Saltwater sent ya!

I watch and follow plenty of anglers but I must say, you probably have the most genuine energy I’ve seen on this platform. Keep going, keep growing!
Definitely a genuine individual, enjoy the content , hope he continues on this journey, TH-cam needs more people like him.
Agreed. i enjoy how he also shows the lows along with the highs with fishing. Also, no clickbaiting titles.
Este lugar es increíble, tiene peces grandes.
Enhorabuena, tienes👍🎣😜 un equipo de pesca fantástico.
Me encantó el video.
Abrazos desde Brasil.

I’ve been watching your vids for over 2 yrs now and it’s crazy how many massive fish you’ve caught 😂
Thank you, It's definitely pretty amazing for sure!! haha
Love your solo trips!! Any time you touch a fishes gills, there’s a good chance of causing an infection from bacteria on your hands.
Haven’t even watched it yet but I want to thank you beforehand for another amazing video

Thank you so much for showing me a different way to clean a pompano. I got it from here brother!
Heading to dauphin island this weekend from Missouri. Gonna try some shore fishing!
It's supposed to rain all weekend here.
Super enjoyable video brother… so glad I found your channel!
Nice fish! And thank you for your service ❤💪
Thank you! It was an Honor!
Hello Captain Steve, How far outside of Fort Morgan were you on this trip?
Just caught my record pompano shore fishing in PCB, would've loved a blue fish too they're great sashimi fish.
Another awesome video. Thank you my guy!!
Have been missing your videos, glad to see you back
would you do the pompano steamed in the pape rbag? I'd love to see how to do it. Very popular in Miami at one time. thanks.!
I bet that's delicious. My favorite way to cook and eat Pompano is baked/broiled with a Garlic/Chili Chutney
Mornin bam 💥
I went to orange beach for vacation last year… I should have done some fishing but never looked into it. I’ve never been saltwater fishing, being from Nebraska
This the rig south of Pascagoula? Is that fed waters, Alabama waters, or Mississippi waters?
I wonder if they will ever open up the snapper season more again, they're EVERYWHERE out there
Fantastic video! ❤❤❤
what kind of anti slip padding did you put on your boat? and did you self install.
It's called SafeFloor. I had a local guy do it, they did a really great job. facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057120023554
good vids man you keep it going, stay safe..

Another great episode
Thanks!
Why I love texas. That red snapper would be a keeper in state waters
Hey bama have you had any luck with jack crevalle from the gulf shores pier? (:
We wore out some sheepshead at those small old single rigs right offshore a few weeks ago.
hey im from south alabama and i wanted to know some tips on catching red snapper
Thanks for another great video Steven. 👍
Great video as always!!!! Keep up the great work!!! BTW - I noticed your T-top was not on the boat...... Did you remove it??? Tight Lines buddy!!!
What’s the regulations for snagged fish in saltwater?
Hey Steve, I’ve got a request for a video you should do some surf fishing and give us some tips for Reds.
I was at Ft Morgan Yesterday! What's that restaurant you and your mom ate at around d Christmas? You had them cook something you caught!
OSO at Bear Point
When you post a vid out on the boat, It makes me feel like im out there too bringing in those studs. 🎣💪
Love it !
Great video as always! I love watching your videos. Its always fun to watch you fish💪 I notice that the T-top was not on the boat.did you remove it? once again love you watching your videos.
I think he took it off because it was getting in the way of him casting. There was a vid a while back where he explained it.
Are you using a gomexus knob on the saltist?
I'm using the stock knob it came with! I love it
@@BamaSaltwater nice 👍 I really like it, most reels I get I have to switch the knobs for gomexus
Oh-no is the funniest name for a dog! Thanks for the fishing adventure.
Awesome catch dude..
Anyone know if the rigs hold flounder on bottom this time of year?
Fish triple rig all the time, good job Capt
What's nice about fishing in the Gulf of Mexico they're fish you can eat there that you can't eat in the North. A lot of Southern Gulf fish don't freeze well.
Can you give me the make, model, and specs on the 24' Bay boat you're using?
You are my favorite TH-camr
Do you bolt and unbolt that T-Top every week or do you have some type of quick release set up?
I took off for good this time. It's a pain to remove and I have to reroute some electronics so it's permanently off for now
What is your deck liner?
Safe Floor of Alabama
Is that triple rig in Mississippi waters or Alabama?
How far out from ft Morgan is that platform ?
That Blue Fish had a serious bite! 😮😮
It really did haha!! Notice i didn't stick my hand near his mouth lol. I can't blame him for trying to bite me though.
Thanks for putting such great Videos up I love fishing.I live in Mobile and go to Fort Morgan and fish all the time.If you ever need help paying for gas let me know .Keep up the great vids.
Can you by chance link the lure you used in the first half of the video
Yes, here you go: bamasaltwater.com/shop/ols/products/nomad-design-vertrex-inshore-swim-vibe
Great job. I have seen pompano butterflied and grilled. Have you ever tried it?
Yes!! I believe there's no wrong way to cook a Pompano as long as you don't waste any meat. The best meat on the Pompano (in my opinion) is the head meat. Sweetest bite on the fish
how deep is it at that rig?
57 feet at it's deepest point.
Already know this gonna be a banger 🔥🔥
Edit: those fin cuts are the worst
They definitely hurt, especially doing a catch and cook with lemon and salt haha!
@@BamaSaltwater lol
THANKS MAN!
Bro is doing gas rig full solo, i like this rust update.
One fish, 2 fish, red fish, blue fish!! Sorry couldn't resist!
Is that s key west boat?
What reel is that?

Too bad all them reds where out of season ! Fun video as usual ! Have a good one !
