Homestuck 2 is hot garbage tbh, I don't hate the people who've been making it, it just doesn't hit the mark in the way homestuck did and some of the design choices in H^2 just aren't really consistent with the characters and their behaviours, some things relapse areas they grew in or devolve them or just give them "bad outcomes" for all the crap they went through to make it through Homestuck in the first place. A big part of that was the epilogues being unsatisfying in how they dealt with the characters and the "ending" of homestuck, we never really got the real closure with most/all of the remaining cast in a way that felt happy or at least meaningful and satisfying in some way, and we never and got to see things go full circle (like a proper fight with LE to finally tie up that loose end would have been nice). In my opinion, the epilogues and H^2 should just be scrapped as non-canon and a different, more fulfilling ending should be made that gives us proper closure... And then after that? Afterwards I think that they should make a new (non-prequel) story focusing on new characters, maybe with some influence from the original cast in homestuck and maybe in or relevant to their new universe? But definitely a new story with new characters. The thing we enjoy about stories their journey, we follow their growth and it helps us grow, sometimes it's a multiple journeys if the hero still needs to grow more , but sooner or later the hero reaches the journeys end a better, more rounded person and generally finds some fulfilment, peace and happiness at the end of all the struggles they have overcome and we leave it feeling satisfied, happy and at peace ourselves. The kids did most of their growing in Homestuck and it's hard to find another challenge beyond overcoming an immortal, time traveling demon that kills everyone and unravels reality. Hussie told a story, it just needs a better ending and then it'd be nice to hear a new one. I'd love to see a new group of kids play sburb
@@Shinobi_Fox they are non canon,regardless of the "dubious" bullshit they try to use,which is good because they're pointless garbage that only exists because Hussie gave it to the worst part of the fandom who clearly never read the original and have no respect for the series or fans(I mean really,look how long it took them to fire that bitch who was bullying children and telling them to eat shit...).Even if he hadn't,I still doubt it would be near as good with how antagonistic Hussie became,not to mention insisting a child be named after a sex term

I mean some of the modela and scenes didnt quite catch my liking, but that's dine when we consider that this was originally a flash animation. As for a 3d animation this looks absolutely great.
Amazing. This is spectacular. Some parts seem a bit too slow moving and I think the Rose model may wind up my sleep-paralysis demon, but I am enamored by the beauty of this animation and the evident time and effort put into it. Truly amazing.
