I can't see the com port when I open esplorer.

Hi Nathan! Whole application is open-source and available at github (link is in description), so you can clone repositories and adapt NodeJS code to make application work with MariaDB. Thank you for comment!
Can you help me? Im a bit confused. What esp32 variant are you using? Theres a lot of esp32 variant im confused. There is wroom, cam, esp32s, 38 pins and 32 pins. Im a noob

@@bswill5077 differences are mainly in hardware specifications (memory, processor speed, etc...), but for this project you can use any kind of esp32
hy , i got "Can't autodetect firmware, because proper answer not received (may be unknown firmware). Please, reset module or continue." when i want to upload esp32
I googled that issue and came up to answer that it is maybe problem with baud rate, because in newer versions of NodeMCU firmware default baud rate is 115200. So you can try to set baud rate to 115200 (in ESPLorer) and try again.

This project is realized with ESP32 (not ESP8266). GPIO mapping is configurable and you can find it in config.json file (bit.ly/2jUmR3Z). I have also made attendance system using ESP8266 and you can watch it here: th-cam.com/video/3ogx5X3xvPw/w-d-xo.html . Scheme for system made with ESP8266 you can find in description of video.
