"RFID technology has always intrigued me, and this explanation really clarified its workings. The breakdown of the RFID system, including the reader, tags, and operating principles, was insightful. Learning about passive, active, and semi-passive tags, as well as their practical applications, makes me appreciate how versatile RFID is-from logistics to animal tracking. Great video!"
We are working on an project in which we are required to use RFID but there's no proper videos explaining the concept....you explained it so nicely and it was really smooth to understand the concept...thanks for your efforts.👍🏼
Thank you very much, this was just great, and a super clear explanation! I’m not a native English speaker and I could understand it just fine. Your accent is amazing! I hope you do not get bothered by the fools who cannot appreciate the time and effort you put into this, and all they can talk about it how you speak. Here’s hoping they will enter the 21st century one day. Thank again for your effort.
I'm shocked at the responses of people here, I simply can not believe my eyes. Like you said we can only hope that they attempt to step into the 21st century era
Thanks- this was a really good explanation! I was not understanding the difference in passive vs active tag until now. Passive tag is what a vet implants in a dog. Active tag is what we hook to dog's collar or child's clothes to track them on cell phone app
Active tags generally are self-powered relying on their own power to send a signal to the receiver, semi-passive rely on radio frequency of the receiver to send signal to the receiver & have limited range whereas passive tags have no power & entirely depend on the reader is what I've understood.
RFID technology is fascinating! This video does an excellent job breaking down how RFID works, from the reader-tag interaction to the different types of tags and frequency bands. Understanding the principles like load and backscattered modulation really shows how versatile RFID can be. It’s incredible to see how RFID finds applications in so many areas-from libraries and hospitals to transportation and animal tracking. Definitely a must-watch for anyone interested in tech-driven solutions for identification and tracking!
I now better understand the how the tag (with its load) modulates the 13.56 MHz reader's magnetic field to send its data back to the reader. Thanks for clearing that up!
yes but many people do not know how to understand spoken English, there are about a million dialects the way English is spoken, this chap in the video may not understand you any better. I understood every word he said plus the fact is I work with RFID and could not find any faults in the technical aspect of what he said and his explanation was best ever .
Good entry level presentation. Accent was thick so I turned on closed caption which was video publisher generated and very thoroughly done. As an American English user, I am always happy when people of other cultures take on our language. And visa versa, i.e., my son is teaching Science at a private academy in China and has become fluent in Mandarin to do so. Languages are cool...
This comment is to help me remember. I make songs and dance moves etc. to memorize. Learnt this from Montessori. Ok. Dance moves are :: Active tag, Passive tag, and Semi Passive tag. These moves require pantomime expressions. Thanks for the video.
I'm very grateful of your tottally clear explanation. I'm very very grateful! I'm not english native speaker either, but i understood everything. Thanx a lot!
Hi bro,I'm a electronic student Currently I'm doing my final year project.and I'm doing a rfid system based project .Your video really helpful for my project, thank u so much.
Thank you for the thorough explanation. In my opinion, your English is excellent. However, if you slowed down just a little, it would be easier for me to comprehend. Regardless, I just replayed it until I got the gist of it. Well done, I'm now a subscriber!
Couple questions: 1. Do all tags have the same ID that the reader recognizes or are there different ones programmed into the reader to detect? 2. How do tags get deactivated by rubbing on a black looking thing like in a library when signing a book out?
If you are having trouble understanding, try turning the speed down a little bit, so it doesnt sound like he is talking so fast. It helped me make it out clearer.
Ur method of explanation is excellent. It is very easy to understand and u've covered every topic order wize. Its really impressive. Keep up the good work.
I just stumbled upon this piece about What is RFID, and it really opened my eyes. The insights shared are thought-provoking and genuinely refreshing. If you're curious about this topic , this is a must-read in GAO RFID Inc -there's a wealth of information here that could reshape your understanding.
Thank you for concise and clear explanation. Excellent. Good if can make additional you tube videos for few related topics - 1. Material of the Tag ?? 2. Environment under which Tag and Reader are working including what to do and what not to do to increase the performance 3. Impact on the range /distance between Tag and Reader of the environment ??? 4. I am sure other readers can add to my list
Thank you for a very clear explanation. I wanted to understand this technology so that I would know how to block those who want to steal credit card information. This got me started with a basic understanding of the way RFID works. I see the comments about your accent. It is rather different than mine. I live in the Central Valley of Californian. I am, of course, used to the accents I hear every day. It would be helpful if you slowed down when you speak. But I solved the problem by turning on the close captioning. It did an excellent job of translating your speech into text. I could also have slowed down the play back of the video. But that wasn't necessary. Again thank you. I have subscribed and activated notifications. I look forward to your future offerings.
Thanks for the informative video. I have a question: 5:24 I always thought that higher frequencies are more fragile to attenuation and therefore their range is smaller than low frequencies ? Is it wrong ?

Hey! Nice video. However, there is one thing i was conserned about. Shouldn't the distance be higher for lower frequency and shorter for higher frequency? I am quite sure i learned it in that way
thank you really much for this video! Really clear! I have a question: Can we use the FFC RFID with high frequencies and detect how far or how short the RFID tag is from the reader based on the intensity of the signal?
FCC is just a regulatory body, you can detect the range of the RFID by using an Ultrasonic sensor with a preset distance calculation or microcontroller with RFID wave data for interpretation of signal parameters.
Hello AAE, thanks a lot, now I understand how rfid works. Just one comment/question on distance travel wrt frequency (ts 5:13). I thought one of the basics in radio waves is that lower frequency travels longer than higher frequency. So i'm wondering if you had it the other way around. Appreciate if you can clarify, I could be wrong.
So u have international viewer critisiging your accents. But for indians your English is just osm nd fluent 😂 appriciat becoz they also dont know how to talk in fluent hindi।।proud
Nice video presentation, Sir, My question is,What are the most frequent causes of RFID interference problems and ways to avoid RFID interference problems. Thank you very much
I bought a bag from dechathlon and my friend told me that there is a chip inside ure bag and I checked it and found out that there is a RFID and then I found this channel and I never knew that they would install that chip inside a bag
I specifically came here because no one really talks about how RFID does load modulation. You did. Thanks. Very informative.

It's a bit hard on my ears. Not because i don't like the accent it just reminds me of the scammers all the time 🤦♂️ so annoying.
@Mr.HotshothimselfShunWhy all are of you here go and watch your country teacher's video🤬🤬
Nice information. Haters are just gonna hate. We are here for the concepts not accents
Honestly I'm here for both. This guy's voice gives me thicc ASMR :)

I adore your accent.
Very true
