Understanding the EMS Compact

Description: Over the past decade, a surge in Interstate Compacts have changed the operational framework, licensing, and regulatory model, licensing, and for many medical professions in the United States. The EMS Compact, with 24 member states and over 200,000 EMS personnel with a privilege to practice, provides new opportunities for the EMS workforce. Attendees will gain an understanding of the EMS Compact’s origins, the legal and legislative foundations, its governing body - the Interstate Commission for EMS Personnel Practice - and an understanding of the Privilege to Practice. The webinar will also include a Q&A session for EMS Educators.
