Technical proficiency is definitely important, but getting famous people to feel comfortable is also a highly valued skill. He's clearly good at doing that

I think that his film photography is dope and I fuck with it a ton but, it's exactly like gunners. portraits of rappers and celebs and the same filter, same angles, same shit that every young hypebeast is about today shooting the rap scene. Im not hating but I just think its funny when people act like they know photography but just shoot point and shoot 35mm film and use those disposable cameras and think their gonna blow up. cause I notice this came into play not to long ago and everyone is doing it too. It would be dope if this guy ray mixed it up a bit and used digital and film. Maybe add some different measures in his photography. BUT The top two photographers on my list thats been around for a min is Petra Collins and Elie ( vision elie) . Their work blows my mind everytime and elie uses a mixture of both digital and film.. soo like both gunner and ray work is hard but they not the hardest in the game.
