Fun! Cory was my first ever on track "rider coach", on my first track day back in 2009 at Thunderhill with PTT. I learned more about how to go faster that one day than a year on the street. Cory is fast. Very impressive that your having no problem staying with him! I never got the Wheelie gene. Total bummer. ;>)
Lol he's taking it easy which I admire and envy about him and a lot of the instructors. He's able to adjust to another riders pace consistently. Super talented hooligan wheelie-ing out of t5 and one handed wheelie down the front straight! Amazing!
@@annniecbr Your first lap was a 2:09 and your second was about 2:06. The power of a tow. Yes, he's taking it easy cuz he can turn 1:46's there. 2:00 flat is the legit fast marker at T-hill so you're right there knocking on the door. Well done, especially on a 600. Considering you dropped 3 seconds in traffic, if he towed you like that a couple more times throughout the day you'd probably reach the 2's. It's been a year so you probably have.
@@okboomer1241 something clicked towards the end of the season and broke 2s in the next season, yea. I plateaued at 2:04s for a while then 2:01~2:02s.. Now ~1:57s
