Got mine just now and can already tell it's The BEST headset ive had so far!.... it fits perfect, the structure is good, its very comfortable and the sound and mic quality are extremely good. Worth more than the price it costs!

No, it's not that. It's just that the Sound you hear from a Razer Blade is not specific, unlike in the headphones, you can literally hear it in a biased direction. So if its coming from the right, it will be louder from the Right, and vice versa.
And its surround sound, so its really loud.

You have probably enabled your microphone sound to speakers (headset) as a "listen this device" so you hear that static noise it's making. Try to disable it on windows settings.

I have tried/tested Roccat Kulo 7.1 (was mine) and Logitech G35 7.1(friend's)... Razer Kraken 7.1(current headset) is with no doubt my favourite 7.1 virtual headset. It definitely suits the highest level of gameplay having the best sound isolation and quality!!
Bought the Forged editions... Can't wait for them to arrive... It will be my first Razer product.

Please help I have a problem, when I use my kraken 7.1 it turns itself off and then back on, after a while it turns itself off again and after that on. And even sometimes the sound doesn't work even though it turned itself back on.
