What an inspiration ❤ you make me want to get back at it! Tracking macros works, after awhile you get to know carbs and calories, but apps are great for calculating that and it doesn't take too much time to enter foods. Having the right mind set, food prep/tracking macros and fitness make it happen!
Great recap! Thanks for giving us a look into your plan. I have no doubt you will reach your goals following this. Sharing what I know as a 50+ woman in menopause 😊 I did a similar intense plan in my late 40s, during my first year of menopause. Low fat, high protein, moderate carbs, intense workouts like yours. It WORKS! Here's the thing that I faced after I reached my goal: how to maintain? (Hint: I couldn't keep up the gym/diet intensity, not did I want to). That is to say, it can help to think about this as a period of "on season" where you ramp it up, and also plan to have an "off season" where you eat more and do different workouts, like a pro athlete. Then back to on season, etc. At this point, I'm done with the cycle of on/off. It was fun to prove to myself that I could do it during menopause But truthfully, it was hard for me to maintain the intensity. But hey, everyone is different. Enjoy YOUR journey! 🧳
Thanks for sharing this approach!! thanks for sharing. I love the "intense workouts"...i truly enjoy lifting weights 4-5 days/week, it's my meditation. But i like the idea of an off season being slightly lighter on things like having to walk every day on top of it. The eating I don't look at as a diet, I just look at it as training myself to eat differently on a regular basis.
Heyyy Libryia! Love your transparency and recap of week 1. It was very in depth, congrats, results 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽I can relate. Im on plan to eat 160protein and it’s a struggle daily but I started eating egg whites. I also eat a cutie I may get those prunes like you said. This has been my life and it’s work but like you said rewarding.
Sure!! It's set up to match a growing pace. I'm usually done by the time I finish "Up" Here you go: open.spotify.com/playlist/2CBu25p8Jqh6X2hABBJF39?si=www0Af7VQEiD0Ycw2TIqqQ&pi=u-OcFCBTwISeSh
Not 707😂😂😂😂😂702 girl. I’m in full blown menopause. I was the same-fine by design with no effort and the Air Force made me finer. 45 hit and my body was like who do you thank you are😮😮😮. It’s rough!
Awesome job!! Let's go!! I'm 40, so I understand!!! Magnesium glycinate chelated helps me with the sleep. Check it out it has a meta-analysis on it. #letsgetit

@@jessf5662 agreed! Tracking is a pain in the a$$ but it really does help you LEARN and develops your instincts around food
