Starting Our 2024 California Trip! Virgin Atlantic Flight To Los Angeles!

- Come and join us as we start our September 2024 trip to California! In this travel vlog we make our way from London Heathrow Airport through to Los Angeles on board Virgin Atlantic. Along with sharing the on board experience, we share some of the awesome views out of the window. We then pick up our hire car and head to Walmart for some supplies! Following that, we enjoy the delights of In-N-Out Burger before checking into the first hotel of our trip!

Be careful with leaving valuables in the car! Unfortunately, in California especially in San Francisco people are smashing peoples car windows for their valuables (smash & grabs) is becoming a big problem. Keep your things out of sight when your car is parked.

Speaking of In-N-Out Burger, I heard that they’re planning to build a restaurant in Washington (State). It’s gonna be so long since I tasted the delicious burgers with the toasted bun. 🍔

In n Out is alright. I stopped at the one in Salt Lake City right off the highway on the way to my Cali trip. Got so many cool views of the mountains crossing the Sierras. The Hilton next to the park was very nice. It has busses to Universal tho it's only a short hike up to the citywalk.

You have to visit Alcatraz while in San Francisco. It is such a great experience. Dont miss out on the guided tour which is really interesting. And you also have a nice boat ride with a great view over the City and the bay.

I loved San Francisco, one of the best places I've ever visited. Always wanted to go back tbh. Macy's has a lovely cheesecake factory on its roof with an open veranda you can sit and look down and watch the world from above.

I've never actually been to Los Angeles or the USA ever.
However. i might be going to New York City next year 2025 for my first ever holiday abroad.
Either that or I'll be going to somewhere in Europe outside the UK where I'm from.
I haven't decided yet where to go to that is safe for tourists.
Either way, im looking forward to it.

Shawn, I always have better luck flying into John Wayne/Orange County International airport, its always less crazy than LAX, you should in the future, see if there are flights available. Have fun and welcome to America and I'm jealous if you are going to Universal's Hollywood Horror Nights! I think its better than Florida, although a bit smaller ... all the out of work actors can get a part time job!
