When I first heard about this challenge a month or two ago I went nuts with it! I made tons of rooms and loved them all, and it rekindled my creative spark for the game. Restrictions really do promote creativity.
I love that I'm not the only who makes full backstories for the villagers and their HHP homes. It really helps with the decorating when you think of those extra details and functionality as if they were real people with real lives.
I usually do four by four rooms when I’m short on time or in the mood for a small house, and one tip I have is plants all over the walls looks really good!
I've been doing this to get done w happy home paradise quicker on my second island and its been sooo much fun and I've been sticking to this since then!
Ya I love the tiny rooms. They are so fun, and it ends up so cute. Idk why, but when things are tinier they are so much cuter

I’ve learned that for myself the bigger rooms feel so empty bc I don’t know what to do with all the space. So I’ve switched to only doing 4x4 builds. Plus, it gets done quicker!
