If its convincing enough I actually don't mind this in a new car. The real problem with synthetic leather is how it wears. It never develops a patina and new is the best it will ever look. Id hesitate to buy a jacket in this material or anything Id keep for 10 years +

So until we move entirely away from having to kill animals for other reasons I think it's more respectful to recycle all by products of the kill. I don't support exotic leathers where animals are harvested solely for the pelts

@@susandmelli9273 you're speaking of exotic leather which I just denounced. Nearly all bovine, sheep, and goat leather is a byproduct of food. The carcass is skinned exactly the same way regardless of whether you eat the meat or not so it can't possibly have an effect on quality.

Since leather jackets can literally last your entire fucking lifetime I'd argue that leather jackets are way better for the environment than buying new synthetic jackets every 2-3 years for the next 80 years (about 32 jackets per person times the population can add up to a lot of pollution) And if you are against animal abuse then you can buy real leather from the cows that have died from natural means or old age, this might be a harder process but it sounds like a win win.
