  • A TORY MP blasted "disgraceful and un-British" police officers after they arrested an elderly woman and bundled her into a van while protesting outside Parliament.
Sir Charles Walker told the cops their actions were "an outrage" as he walked towards Portcullis House on Tuesday afternoon.
It is believed the 72-year-old woman was participating either in an anti-lockdown protest or an anti-vaccine demonstration.
The former chair of the 1922 Committee spoke in the Commons about the what he saw.
Sir Charles said: "I have just witnessed an elderly lady peacefully protesting with a handful of other people be arrested and carried spread-eagle to a police van just outside the precinct of the House of Commons.
"This is a disgrace. This is un-British. It is unconstitutional and this Government, our Prime Minister needs to end these injustices now.
"Madam Deputy Speaker, will you bring the Prime Minister and/or the Home Secretary here today to sort this out?
"She was an old lady robbed of her dignity for having the courage to protest about having her fundamental rights and those of my constituents and others removed."
A video online shows Sir Charles speaking to police as they put the woman in the back of their van.
The MP for Broxbourne can be heard saying: "You must have mothers? What an outrage! What a disgrace! This is an absolute disgrace."

      1. We don't know what happened before hand, innocent until proven guilty but more information must be given, all we're seeing here is control of information.
      2. Laws were passed in Parliment earlier this year to allow arrests like this to take place, in which these laws are currently up for vote again or were recently in the house.
Don't get me wrong, an elderly person shouldn't be handled in the way we're seeing but, it also looks like she is resisting the orders of the police, and we don't know what happened before the arrest took place. The police are following what they have been given by the house, and if we don't like it we need to say so to the house and have it looked into and corrected, typing comments on TH-cam gets nothing done, email/phone your local MP and get the fight going in the house where they will have to listen.

I can tell you for a fact that the vast majority of coppers are bullies and cowards: this means that they love to pound on an old lady, a lonely teenager, a homeless person, people with learning difficulties, in short everyone who is vulnerable and cannot put up a fight. Being evil like that gives them a high that is irreplaceable. But! If you are in a gang, or armed, or both, they will run away at any given opportunity. This is no idle talk, it is corroborated by news and articles. It is all there and all you have to do is to read them. And the filth are well happy to behave so, as they are not in the business of protecting the general public. So, no epiphany. The few coppers with human feelings likely to have an epiphany are no longer in the filth or they never joined in the first place. Paradigm Shift raises a very good point. So, in order to counteract what he predicts, with good reasons, as likely to happen, I am of the idea that we, as populace, need to institute People Protection Units, formed by citizens for the benefit of the citizens, properly vetted and trained. A paramilitary corp that would be created via a democratic process with the consent of the people, that would do away with an institution that is deeply corrupted, useless and has surely ran out its course, if it ever was useful in the first place (there were an incredible number of complaints when the police, known as the “peelers” was set un in the second half of the XIX century. They were vastly perceived to be bullies, thugs, cowards and unhinged....and then again, it is all in the papers of the time for all to read....
