Sometimes we can get so caught up in WHAT and WHO already "IS" in the NOW, that we forget they all had steps to take before getting to "BEING." P.s. Don't tell him about this. Shhhhh. genesiating Literally... Other artists don't show their process because many can duplicate the process, but with Bellion he puts so much into every song that no one can do what he does, so fuck it why not show his fans how he makes each piece of art. So dope I love watching these
This inspired me three years ago to get into music and I just released my first track I produced for a film. Thanks for practically giving me a life Jon ❤️
When he finally fits the lyric Bones in my closet, but you hang stuff anyway and had that little jump of excitement had me so happy because you could tell he was like a kid filled with pure joy in what he does
From about 8:10 to 9:30 is a part of this special that will stick with me forever. Seeing jon find the lyrics to "there's bones in my closet but you hang stuff anyway" authentically and in the moment is exactly what I look to for these making of videos. Now, I say this is one of the best 20 minutes spent on TH-cam but if your only got 5 to listen to the song and see one moment, is this one.
he only did this because he made a deal on other social media that if we got All Time Low into the top 20 on itunes that he would release the full making of Guillotine. Although i think most of us can agree that he should release more like this.
AsTro I think they have recorded the "Making Of"s for almost all of the songs and they will just edit, publish them as time goes, maybe even do another one of these sale-deals :D
Most of the artists today sample older music pieces, so the video would probably only have a Maximum of 5 minutes. Also, some other artist do have beat producers. But your comment is true to some extend, there are many artists where I would love to watch the behind the scenes.
That's what's so frustrating with trap hip hop and mumble rap because the lyrics are almost always so meaningless and uninspired. The beats are what is actually interesting, but you don't hear about the producers cause the artists are who gets the recognition and fame.
5:13 His genuine happiness makes me feel at peace for some reason, as if seeing celebrities show real emotions reminds me that they're just normal people with a lot of talent
I was the exact same, as a musician this just sparks passion and to see how his crazy mind creates all these amazing samples and loops and every thing is just like.... its THE beautiful mind
At 16:44 when Jon and Travis found the same beat when figuring out the bridge is just beautiful. Both him and Travis and Blaque Keyz are just so amazing and unknown/underrated they all are just pure souls.
After hearing this dozens of times 2 years later, it's kinda weird seeing these guys discover the melodies and words that I have grown deep in my soul. I know these songs so well and these guys are just hearing it for the first time!
Fans of Jon, should I edit together a Documentary Movie of Jon Bellion. I’m thinking of making a mashup showcasing the genius of Jon and the process of his path of an all-time great. I’m talking like a 2-3 hour movie documentary showing the BTS of Jon’s excellence. I need title ideas too please!
Yeah man you go for it you got this I would watch it daily, also look at his most meaningful song that relates to the feel of the documentary and that songs name should be the title
I'd never heard of him or the song before, but when I got to 13:38 I knew I had to have it. So of course I went to find it.. only to find out the finished product is a radio-friendly pop/hiphop.. thing. All of the emotion of the lyrics have been completely negated. Honestly, I'll just put 13:38 on repeat.
It's so refreshing to see the process of music. It's also so refreshing to see the artist himself producing and writing and just concocting his own content and music. It's hard to imagine a mainstream artist doing this with how set up everything is for that said artist. There are a ton of artist today who just come in to sing whatever produced music there already is for it to become their next hit single. Not saying all, but most. This is an example of someone who is truly so passionate and genuine about what they're doing and they release what feels good and sounds good to them. It makes for a great end result. So glad I came across this.
The lyrics are dependent on the emotions of the melody. What a wild way to write. I love it. Fits real life. Our lyrics are dependent often on the melodies around us. Maybe that's why so many people have clicked with your music.
