I am reading lots of information that it should be planted 20-30 feet away from the house, but I don't have that space. Your tree seems to be fine planted close to your home.
hello my friend. This is like 6yrs old, Sugar Cane jujube. I found a small tree, which I thought came from a seed, when I unearthed it, it was from the roots itself, so I guess the roots gets kinda invasive. I just cut off the roots as close to the trunk itself. I didnt know this until I was reading some of the comments from my post, and maybe that small plant that came out just confirmed it. So, take this into consideration when planting

I think I might just go ahead and plant it and cross the bridge of the problematic roots when they come. Your yard is so very lovely!!

Yes dear friend, they are big than the ones you see at the store. These are the Primo Cane variety...they produce fruits all yr round. The bags are to prevent birds from eating them
