      🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️
      🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
      🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
      🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
      🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
      🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
      🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
      📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚
      🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
      🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

    Wow, really impressive flying. As a pilot I have the highest respect for glider pilots. You guys really fly the aircraft perfectly coordinated and reading nature to give you the best performance. I will be trying gliders this year for the first time in my flying career here in the pyrenees. Can't wait.

    In Paraparaumu the guys would fairly frequently fly south under the Wellington Class C zone on the coast around 500-700'. The other party trick was to fly out to an island off the coast which had a beautiful shear rock face on the ocean side, soar up in it and join the wave which common set up just behind it near the coast. 5 or 6 miles over water feels very wierd when you are down low on the island!

    Gotta go down to the Kapiti coast, it's a bit of a jump near Masterton when the ridge gets low, but you can fly out on an Island ridge out 3m in the Ocean, and its just you, ocean, and the ridge. From Paraparaumu you can also hop down below the wellington airspace and fly along the ridge beside the cars over the ocean all the way down to wellington

    How many others did complete that task?

    • @SteFly
      @SteFly  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most of the other pilots managed to fly the task. But it is a different competition format than we are used to in Germany. It´s called enterprise. So we had some waypoints which we should fly to and for each turnpoint we got 50 or 100 points. Additionally we got 1 point for every kilometer of an FAI triangle. I tried to fly as big as possible, but that was a little bit too much.

    • @SteFly
      @SteFly  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      An der Westküste war kein Bonuspunkt. Dort wollte ich nur ein möglichst großes Dreieck aufspannen. An dem Tag gab es keine Speedwertung, die Punktzahl hat sich aus den erreichten Bonuspunkten und den FAI Dreieckskilometern errechnet. Is that airspeed indicator in knots? Are you really going 180 km/h on the regular while searching for thermals?

      Airspeed indicator is in knots!

    As some one who doesn't know a single thing about gliding, this was very interesting to watch.
    What is the maximum climb rate of a plane like this? How do you measure it? m/sec lift?

      Do you need forward speed in order to climb? Or can you basically get lift, even while flying almost still

      Really good thermals can get you lift on the order of 5-6 m/s vertically, but a more common but "good" thermal is around 3 m/s. And to the earlier reply, yes, you also need horizontal speed so you do not stall, but you can stay in the narrow thermal by going around in circles.

    Maybe I missed it- but how many hours was the entire flight from start to finish?

    Hi, I tried looking for that music that starts at 8:57. What’s the name of it? I would like to use it for one of my videos.

    small float on the sea and line up to non powered glider sail plane that moves up like a kite and backwards cos float moves but has some adjustable resistance too from the water...could work
