I miss replacing the piston rings, replacing the plain bearings of the crankshaft, and I haven't seen a single roller bearing replaced. The soul of a diesel engine is the fuel pump and the injection nozzle. The elements in these can be replaced at home, but a test bench is required for adjustment, otherwise one cylinder will do the work of the other, or the machine will consume too much. I like such films because they give me ideas: for example, the first bridge has a brilliant solution.
All that being said, it's a neat job and I assume they just didn't show it.

A couple of things I would do different. First, I would not have done any of the bodywork until I knew the transmission and motor was salvageable. Third, why would anybody do something like that on that patio tile. If the welds hold up any doesn't try to work it to death, it should last 20 years
Yeah I would have done alot of stuff different to I'd do the body work even if those part were shot because you can make other engines fit and work on it if the old original is shot
I wouldn't have been cutting a bunch of pieces off like he did I'd saved as much as the original as I would do small patch work and lay paper or cardboard down before spraying any paint I do 3 coats of paint and a different color for the bottom of pieces
He saved the entire village

Всё вроде бы хорошо, но кто же клапана притирает електродрелью, их прибивают и не вкруговую а по пол оборота в право и обратно в лево.

Здорово конечно, восстановлены детали, да и весь трактор. Только рулевая тяга, как то не очень. Разве привареные руливые наконечники будут долго держаться. нагрузка на них большая. А так все понравилась👍
