The Thalmor consider all Altmer living outside of Aldmeri control to be traitors. If you talk to them as one, they basically say "You're a disgrace to our race".
The fact that hodvar tries to spare you from the execution, pointing that you are not on the list, and after he says your remains are returned to your homeland is just so nice of him, you clearly sees that he has empaty towards you.
It depends how you consoder the game to be finished. Skyrim has 4 endings: defeating Alduin, resolving the Civil War, the player getting tired to wander a playthrough with nothing left to do, and dying if you want a permadeath run. If he leaves Alduin to do his thing and burn him to ashes, he could have completed a run and achieved an ending: Dovahkiin is dead and the world is over.

They should have done something for you, like maybe an additional quest before you join them that gives you like gold and some materials for crafting or something? I play Skyrim as a neutral bystander, I honestly don't care if an Imperial or a Stormcloak sits on the throne. Both have their points and their faults, and I'd rather not get mixed up in that mess.
@@kingcamelot1395 Both suck but I generally go with the Imperials (if I choose at all) because the Empire fleeing Skyrim would likely mean its downfall to the Thalmor. The Empire already has a low chance of success, the Stormcloaks who are comparatively less organized and in much fewer numbers would be totally screwed. I do wish there was a way to complete the Civil War without picking either side though, siding with the Empire always feels as if my character wants to devote themselves entirely to the Legion. It feels corrupt to have a Dragonborn in the pocket of an army, and without mods there is no way to justify just going off to war before you learn you're Dragonborn, unless you're playing a selfish arse, in which case I'm not sure why you'd even want to be involved in that mess.

The Thalmor consider all Altmer living outside of Aldmeri control to be traitors. If you talk to them as one, they basically say "You're a disgrace to our race".

It depends how you consoder the game to be finished. Skyrim has 4 endings: defeating Alduin, resolving the Civil War, the player getting tired to wander a playthrough with nothing left to do, and dying if you want a permadeath run. If he leaves Alduin to do his thing and burn him to ashes, he could have completed a run and achieved an ending: Dovahkiin is dead and the world is over.

I play Skyrim as a neutral bystander, I honestly don't care if an Imperial or a Stormcloak sits on the throne. Both have their points and their faults, and I'd rather not get mixed up in that mess.
@@kingcamelot1395 Both suck but I generally go with the Imperials (if I choose at all) because the Empire fleeing Skyrim would likely mean its downfall to the Thalmor. The Empire already has a low chance of success, the Stormcloaks who are comparatively less organized and in much fewer numbers would be totally screwed.
I do wish there was a way to complete the Civil War without picking either side though, siding with the Empire always feels as if my character wants to devote themselves entirely to the Legion. It feels corrupt to have a Dragonborn in the pocket of an army, and without mods there is no way to justify just going off to war before you learn you're Dragonborn, unless you're playing a selfish arse, in which case I'm not sure why you'd even want to be involved in that mess.

Look up an Austrain accent and look at a map in relation of German, France, Norway, and other western European places. Not hard to hear influences of one into the other, especially considering the reach of both Celtic and Roman civilizations.

Surprisingly, Hadvaar is a very respectful man! I was half expecting him to be rude or insulting, but instead, he really seems to be concerned and feel bad for the situation your character is forced into.

indeed. Couldn't of said it better myself. I have no problem with Scottish ppl but its as if the mod author said to the VA to not try and hide his accent at all. He sounded so out of place. The mod author should've chosen a Scandinavian VA, Hadvar's VA sounded nothing like a Nord. Usually mods r supposed to improve the game...Hadvar's new VA certainly didn't.
I dont get why they changed Hadvar's VA but kept Ralof's original VA, I'm glad they didn't change it but its still confusing.
