  • After seeing some fantastic post-apocalypse artwork around the web, I wanted to get in on the action. So I bought the Gaslands: Refueled book to make sure I could get all the dimensions right. I think the game will be as much fun as making the terrain!
    I'm starting off with just some obstacles for Gaslands terrain as it looks like it will take the most of those to play. Smashed car piles made from $1 dollar store die-cast cast 3 packs. So much fun to build these, it will be more fun to actually play with them!

      Thanks, that did turn out really good. One of my favorite pieces. A great way to use up all those tiny cut-off bits that would normally end up in the trash. Thanks for watching and have fun crafting more cool terrain!

      It's more of a wargame than RPG mechanics wise, but very immersive with customization of individual cars and factions for team races. And the Aesthetic is fantastic.

    Very nice! I was on the fence on weather or not to fully paint mine. This was very helpful in my decision! Idea stolen!

    Love it !!! Keep up the good work !! Since you are into gaslands and addicted like me - have you considered a large wasteland terrain track - I’m currently working on a large broken aircraft carrier made from gi Joe Uss Saratoga toys - I bought two and ripped them apart so the racetrack will appear to go across the decks across a apocalyptic race bridge between the shattered sections of hull - down and around onto the rock terrain and race through the broken hull and then back up the other side onto the wrecked military docks and up onto the ship again - I’d love to see your take on a large ruin racetrack terrain like this idea or others

    • @m3verse
      @m3verse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds like a badass track! I started working on a "battle mat" today. I'm going to try and keep everything modular as I'm sure a single track will get boring eventually. I have been eyeballing the matchbox aircraft carrier too, just haven't picked one up yet... I guess I have to now.

    I know i'm a bit late to the party with this, but it's a great video. i'm trying to copy the techniques for making some race gates. One question i have though, what kind of brush did you use to spread the superglue? I used a cheap brush and it starting crackling and smoking several seconds after spreading the glue

    • @m3verse
      @m3verse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use the gel type superglue and use a toothpick to spread it. I've never seen it eat a brush like that. Happy crafting!

    Considering how much super glue you use, ever think about finding a better place to buy your supply other than The Dollar Store?

    • @m3verse
      @m3verse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had not. I just assumed the dollar store would be the cheapest. Is there a better deal out there than 4 tubes for $1?
