Sorry, Kendrick's music is comparable to a pile of horse poo. I know it's a different genre, I have ears. Actual musicians must be so pissed that he can get famous with no vocal talent, instrumental talent or lyrical skill. I know other people have a different idea of what sounds good and I like some rap and Hip Hop, but Kendrick Lamar is terrible.. It honestly makes me laugh

Don't get me wrong Dermot Kennedy is a great talent (i've seen him live in Amsterdam in February and it was an impressive show) in the same month I saw Kendrick live in Amsterdam as well and let me tell you that show blew me away. Kendrick has an extreme performing ability and is super energetic on stage. Also, maybe you should try to analyse his songs a bit more, his works on for instance good kid maad city and to pimp a butterfly are outstanding. I don't think slagging one artist proves a point of the talent of another artist. Regarding the different genre bit you mentioned, there are quite a few of Hip-Hop influences in Dermot's work, he explains in multiple interviews his great admiration for artists like 50 cent and Drake. Again, i'm not saying one artist is better than the other but I don't think it's fair the way you write-off Lamar's music.
