some corrections/missed gains:
hammer nlight -> slight can be true at even lower dex stats, but is relatively dependent on the atk - def difference between the hammer user and the one getting hit. e.g. Teros at 4dex has 7atk and can hit it true against 6+def, there are many other cases like this. 9dex hammer also gets sair -> dlight -> slight -> nlight true.
katars get nair-> dlight true on 5dex
axe gets slight -> nair -> ledgecancel dlight true at 6dex
all in all great video

Great video btw, very helpful. The only thing I would have to say is that less recovery on missed moves pairs very well with the common attack heavy playstyle. Where throwing out moves is very excessive and is more of a tactic to apply pressure without at all getting put into disadvantage state. If you play like this definitely check the spreadsheets.

Great video, although you did not mention some dex specific combos that might be useful
5 dex katars: nair dlight/nair nlight
8 dex katars: nair slight dlight or nlight
7 dex scythe with low strength: nair sair
9 dex blasters: sair nlight
Also 9 dex katars: dair-dlight, dair-nlight is true
I actually cut out the part with sair nlight on blasters because I thought it was too situational. Katars do a have lot of potential combos and I was too lazy to test them all lol. also didnt know strength affects that scythe combo.

@@ToonsterBB Now that I re-tested, strength is much more for consistency. To get nair sair true you need the 7 dex and at least 5 speed.
Fun fact, this does not even work against 4 defence legends.
And on 6 speed you can hit nlight nair (1 dodge frame) into sair true (which normally isn't) so if they don't dodge after nlight nair, you get a 3 piece. This can be done with Jiro and speed stance Loki.
Also, I forgot to mention that 6 dex bow gains sair nlight true (I think very important) and dlight dair nlight 3 piece
U can do sair nlight with lucien on blasters so no need for 9 dex

absolutely helpful, i play on mobile and stringing here is meh lmao, but maybe with this knowledge and fiddling around with dex AND gegetting used to the game, ill play better:)
I'd like to add that on 8 dex katars, you can hit nair>slight+nlight/dlight. It's an overall neat combo to exploit

It is, but it was bit inconsistent so I left it out
A small extra bit of info that isn't on the wiki/this video:
Dex technically affects sigs. And the multipliers are different compared to other moves.
HOWEVER, the only sig with variable recovery is mako greatsword nsig.
so that's the only sig actually affected.

No, 3 speed is unbearable imo. You're put in an unlucky situation, but I'd save the speed

the info for how dex internally works can be found on the wiki. it's just a matter of calculating it from there.
