I liked how, you could tell Kirsten was Zoycite, Emerald, and Kaorinite, but she made the effort to make sure they didn't sound completely identical. Zoycite was more high pitched, Emerald was deeper and booming to a degree, Kaorinite was a bit more sultry and venomous.

Both Kirsten and Tara did a great job as Kaolinite. I still miss Kirsten she gave it her all in each of her roles. Rip

I like Kirsten bishopric the most. Maybe because I grew up hearing this type of dub first. But it's just that she has the perfect cheeky, cold type of voice for kaorinite. Sexy and evil 💯

Noriko Uemura does such a fantastic job at voicing this character through one of the most interesting villain transitions in the entire series. Kaolinite was possibly the most nuanced characters in the entire series; Super was so dark in its tone compared to the rest of the series. I wish they would have allowed the production staff to stay in that vein for the remainder, but there was balking that led to significant changes in tone in SuperS.
If DiC had dubbed Sailor Stars I would have chosen Kirsten Bishop as Galaxia - she had the silky, dangerous edge to her voice that totally suited Kaolinite and Zoisite, even if the translation was sometimes excruciating.

No contest on this one. All the voice actresses of Kaorinite/Kaolinite are equally talented.

This is the first time I can't choose between the voices for a Sailor Moon character. They all sound so good for Kaolinite, though both Japanese and Tara have a femme fatale streak which is synonymous with the character that I love.

The Original Japanese voice actor sounds like a classy woman... so refreshing in comparison to the usual anime female characters

Out of all the sailor moon villainesses, kaolinite is one of the hottest of them all.
Kirsten for sure! But Tara is a close second! btw, the dialogue is so different between DiC and Viz. I wonder who writes (or adapts) the script for the dubbed version. It's interesting to see the same scene interpreted in two different ways.
Tara plays the really kind characters well like Erza and the one in FMA and FMAB.
No complaints here, Kaolinite's voices here are all great.^^

Kristen's voice was pretty good considering the time, just the lines really kill it for me. I do enjoy the crazy tone she gave Kaolinite. I enjoy Tara's voice in any media. I think she took a more somber tone as to not sound too much like Usagi's mom.As for the Japanese, I find that Hikari was a bit off in the beginning, but improved greatly as the season went on. I remembered not enjoying the voice at all when I saw the trailer.

Kirsten slays it. She's sultry and has a natural sounding low voice. Tara is okay, but Viz needs to hire more ladies with low voices or have more range.
I respect Kirsten as a person and an actress, and I am still very hurt by her passing, but I wasn't a big fan of her work in Sailor Moon.
Yeah, I liked Kirsten's voice for Esmeraude and her take on Kaolinite is decent enough, but I don't like her Tellu and I honestly never cared about her Zoisite either. :/

Indeed. Changing Zoisite and Fish-Eye to female only made them tomboys because they weren't intended to be female in the first place. And also, changing Amara and Michiru to cousins because they were in a same-sex relationship is why I blame the parents for causing heavy censorship in anime, cartoons, and video games to begin with. Parents just didn't understand that most of the content in the Japanese version wasn't intended to be offensive in the first place to begin with even though I can understand they were worried of uncensored anime causing a negative impact to children during the 1990's. Don't get me wrong, some censorship is okay, I just couldn't stand those 90's parents playing god with anime and video game content because not all the games and cartoons were made for children to begin with. All Sailor Moon needed was a better direction which was hard for the American climate to understand back in the 90's because it wasn't the biggest market-friendly audience during that time. While some people do enjoy the Canadian English dubs of Sailor Moon for its humor and jokes with an abridged script, the Viz Media dub being true to the Japanese original just punishes DiC/Cloverway for being too much of a coward dubbing anime. Now that we have the Viz Media dub of Sailor Moon, I can forget about Sailor Moon being censored to a fault. Don't get me wrong, Sailor Moon was the most difficult anime to localize in English at first because it first appeared during the 90's which was a time where America wasn't the biggest market-friendly audience in terms of Japanese video game and anime localization.
