i know many people complain about bugs and about the combat system in gothic 3, but we can all agree it has one of the most beautiful soundtrack. isn't it?
I actually prefer those dark and wierd soundtracks of G1/2.
It definitely was written by someone who mastered orchestral music. Not easy to find that level of composing, especially for smaller games. Yet another hidden master.

It's good but too "epic" for a Gothic game imo; it should have had got a bit more gritty and dark soundtrack, like the previous parts. The overall graphic style is also too fairy and colorful for me.

I found both at first, but this video is helpful. And this mod is simply fantastic, adding a lot of things to the already underrated, great Gothic 3.

@@drk00x Gladly. That's an interesting and "special" weapon. It is not as strong as the sword of the ancestors but it looks very good and powerful.

This only works if you had chosen dragon hunter when instaling the patch if your a mage then you find mage's robe . However you still get the dragonslayer and the blueprint

Where can i find palladin's helmet and sword from my choices? Is it the same place as shown here?
Yes, the dead pirate has the sword and the smith of the fire clan will sell you the helmet, the dragonslayer sword and his scheme are in the same places

2) sword of elements
3) sword of the ancestors
Ahahah good question! Maybe i'll make a video about that. Personally i prefer two dragonslayer as you can see at the end of the video. With the combat system of g3 i think that you should consider more stats than the simple weapon damage, the range for example. Btw if you want to know which weapon deals more damage the answer is simple:
1) sword of ancestors
2) sword of elements
3) dragonslayer

It's been ages since I played Gothic 3, but back when I tried playing it with the Community Pack the English translation was awful. Has it been updated since then? How would you rate it now in 2021?

@@drk00x Thank you for such a quick reply. I will try it out to see if there is any improvement (although the last time I played was when the video in the description was made, so it's possible that it will be the same). I remember it being amazing, with it feeling so much more like Gothic 1 and 2.
My issue was almost entirely with the translation. The mod creators were obviously doing their best to make it so that everyone can enjoy their work, and I respect that, but there were so many moments when I was literally unable to understand what I was reading. Hopefully in the 3 years since I last played, there has been an update or another translation.
@@A_Potato_of_Infinite_Wisdom I finished the game not long time ago doing almost everything and I didn't find any issue with the translation... Now I remember that when I installed the mods, i unchecked something to not install russian/german voice acting. Btw make a try and let me know if you need help 😉
@@drk00x Well, I tried it out. Sadly the terrible translation is still there.
When talking to the mayor of Ardea, you have the new option to say "you fought well" and... well... hilarity and confusion ensue. I'll probably continue at a later date, since I'm more invested in other games right now, but I'll probably soldier through the horrible translation to enjoy Gothic 3 as it should have been.

Do you know maybe what stats have Heavy hunter armor, beacuse i can't find informations about it? I can buy recipe from trader in Mora Sul for 80k gold And i don't know it is profitable to do it. In the island where was pirat body i found only sword with 115 dmg
Did you installed all the mods needed? Check the link in the description, it's a guide that explains everything you need to know. One of this mods asks you which faction did you choose in the previous Gothic 2, if you select mercenary/dragon hunter you'll find the armor.

There was no dead pirate on the floor, next the chest. And there was no sword lying on top of that coffin. In fact, none of the items were there. And, yes, I have patch 1.75. Weird.

I install the mods and the game is fascinating, but I have 2 little problems. First of all, when I change control, for example the jump button to space , the game is always reset to the original options. Do you know how to fix this? Secundly the game is too dark to me compare to the original version of the game, where can I change this? Sorry for my englis, I'm hungarian and the game is full english so I'm a little confused about the options.
I'm not sure, but considering the few information you gave me, I suppose that the installation has some sort of bug and you need to unistall and install a clean version. Or you just simply need to fix and save some option in the menu

Boy... those armor and sword were hidden very good. I play that game since release, and i got of course the CPT... but never found this lovely armor.

I found 5th dragon near Geldren, its just below dragon in castle with 8 chests. Did you maybe find more dragons or is that a glitch?
What do you mean with below? Btw as far i know there are 4 dragons (Milten gives you a quest about it) so I'am afraid that is a glitch
@@drk00x Alright, but this is 3rd time i find that dragon. There are 5 , but its useless , cause u need 8 dragon eggs, and u only end up with 5. So yeah, prolly bug xD
@@munki4268 Can you tell me the locations of all 5 dragons? Cause as far as I know there are 4 in the game. 2 of'em are in the cave under Cape Dun, 1 of them is near the Geldern among the ruins and one is very near to Al-Shedim I don't remember the fifth one tho.
@@ismaylbayraml775 5th dragon is near Geldren, walk to the cave where is Hamzo's brother digging, then start climbing left of the cave entrance. And when u climb u will find 5th dragon, 4th dragon is very near on the right side, but just above the cave entrance there is the 5th dragon. Btw i used 1.75 cp, questpaket, etc. the completely remastarted verison of gothic 3.

in the pirate's inventory was a sword, a note and a sword
That's because you probably selected paladin when you installed the content mod. If you want the dragon hunter armor, you should select mercenary. Check the link in the description of this video if you need more details 😉

It's not a Dragonslayer sword, but scheme of Dragonslayer sword. The sword is in the cave with undead near druid Runak.
Watch carefully he showed all item's locations(dragon hunter armor, helmet, dragon slayer and its scheme)

I installed the mods but I think I chose something wrong because I have looted a sword at the dead pirat. How can I change the loot of the pirat? Do I need to install everything again?
Late response I guess but yes, if you found sword on the pirate instead of the armor then it means you chose paladin instead of dragon hunter when downloading content mod. You don't have to download everything again, just the content mod

You just need the "teeth, claws and horns" perk from the hunting skill tree
