you should get to 20k popularity it will have a little story in the end when your reach it. We have a cute moment with zhezhi like a date and also with xiangli yao
I started playing this game at version 1.1 but then stopped and started again at 1.3, I skipped By Moon's Grace event and now I can't see the meeting between Rover and Zhezhi and it feels strange doing her companion mission
