Here's the full 1.3 story quest. Had some serious issues with fps drops during the 2nd hour. Idk what it is with Kuro, but whenever they update the game to the next version, game suffers for a week or so. Luckily it somewhat stabilized back. Final boss in the update was meh, but the ending was decent. See you guys for 1.4! Enjoy!
My gripe with the story is the pacing and sudden changes. Like in the beginning we were suddenly teleported to BS. Then when SK sacrificed herself we suddenly were talking to her at the shore. Like a simple black bars or filter could help us differentiate that it was just an illusion and not on real ground. And yeah the boss was too easy. Didn't even get a chance to do anything to us
@ShiningPom i am sorry but the music part needs a bit of reflection, and story part too but i 100% agree with visuals. Let's not become wuwa glazers and think logically before declaring our statements as facts

While black shore's music is very good indeed but when genshin exist at the same time or hoyomix, to be more precise; i will have to disagree. They may have made a thousand mistakes so far, but their music has always been THE best and story too. What WuWa lacks is the world immersion, when you explore the map, the same music keeps playing throughout every part of solaris. We need more music to make different areas more memorable. Bcs music leaves a long lasting impression on you, for example if you go to Narukami island in Genshin and go near kamisato estate or near the firework island but not enter them, you can hear variations of "Hannachirusato" which is one of my fav music piece. So i always go there finding a perfect place where it starts playing automatically. So i visit these places and remeber them from time to time. But in WuWa i can't even remember if i have ever been at a certain place since i always forget its existence and i have already explored the map 70%. So that's one thing they need to work on

And yes, the quests in Genshin are def more memorable. I can't say the same for WuWa bcs i literally have done 2 big and 2 small quests in total and so far one of them(the one in whining axe mire) is the most memorable for me, it was sad and had a bitter sweet ending which made me emotional. I think the storytelling, especially some parts like how we got to black shores(we just reached there, lol) could have been done better than just lying us on the shore out of the blue. I am currently doing exploration and small quests bcs i need astrites for shorekeeper bcs i lost to encore and now i have managed to reach 62 pity. Combat is something that i am in love with in wuwa, it looks like they put all their collective efforts in character design and animations(i still can't get over rover, i play him everyday without getting bored) Yea after 1.1 the improvements are def more visible. Mihoyo does and doesn't listen to players both at the same time lol. Ever since 4.0 we have been continuously getting major and minor QoL changes and the next version QoL are some of the best one's so far. Makes me excited about what both the games have in store for us. Also did you watch Xilonen' trailer if you still play genshin? If you haven't then you should bcs it's not a trailer, IT'S A FREAKING MV!!!!
I'm very grateful that you still upload content for wuthering waves. Your channel during wuwa's CBT/Beta days is what got me interested in the game at all, now it's become my favourite. Coming back to watch the cutscenes all over again like this really helps me appreciate the animation more. Hopefully Kuro will add a cutscene replay/play again option for quests in the future. He left them behind, but I don't think it was by choice. On the bright side, at least he left them behind with a purpose to give meaning to their lives.
Think about it. If Rover is awoken once ever 100s of years he's bound to meet and and leave behind some people and those with extended lifespan will be there waiting
i just finished playing the story and kuro cooks every time. the story was actually really good, the scenery was nice, the music was amazing, and Shorekeeper as a character is so well made

In less than a year, we found out that Rover founded Jinzhou, founded the black shores, has lived for possibly thousands of years, and has Jue, a sentinel, as a subordinate. Compared to Traveler who's had 4 years to be fleshed out and all we really know about them is that their sibling traveled Teyvat before them and that their sibling became the leader of the Abyss due to reasons surrounding Celestia, the heavenly principles, and khaenri'ah. Actually, none of those things are even about Traveler so really we still know NOTHING about them. Not to mention that Rover actually talks in cutscenes and dialogue whereas Paimon CONSTANTLY speaks in behalf of Traveler.

In other games I have played, particularly gacha games, the main character either remains unknown, indecisive, irrelevant TO THE GAME ROSTER, weak(in terms of playability if he is playable at all), or DENSE as hell. Friendship or ambiguity is the most common route taken to cater relationships and most of the time, the MC is thrust unto a situation by circumstance, not by their own will or decision. But on this game, he ACTIVELY makes the decision instead of being PUSHED towards making one. And with strength, he can make his will happen instead. I know that not all MCs are strong or solid on their will, but I do prefer mature and decisive MCs instead of ambiguous or torturous self-doubting mcs who get by with the power of friendship.
I lost my 50/50 to Jianxin (I have 3 copies of her) then got Shorekeeper in 18 pulls, I was screaming because I was so happy and went through all the emotions in 5 mins.

It's a shame there is no replay function in WuWa. As good as the story has been getting, with Mt Firmament and Jinhsi's chapter being so great, 1.3 was amazing. Especially near the end, it was so emotional and heartwarming. The Shorekeeper protects you, and is willing to sacrifice herself because of the Rover's ideal of saving everyone, but the you go back for her because she is part of this "everyone" we want to save. Well, I didn't really get everything in the story, like how exactly did they get out, but it matters little. Shorekeeper is now free and that's all that matters.

Hello. Do you also experience some vibration of faces, movement, etc when in dialogues? It’s like, they are shaking. It’s very annoying because it’s very noticeable for when I’m doing main quest. This started back at 1.1 at least, for me.
Very friendly or I can say you can get one character even though you lose 50/50 first time in one version. You are guaranteed to get the preference weapon when you pull it because there is no 50/50 in weapon banner
Quite friendly, still f2p and the only character that I missing is Changli (well maybe this is luck based) but tbh you can clear this game even with 4 star cause this game is more skill based especially in endgame as the enemy can one shot you
Bruh I'm on the second tower, got lvl 50 rover, calcharo and Aalto but I keep fucking dying this games tough. I guess I'll have to just focus on leveling up huh..and these mfs haven't given me camellia even after like 80 pulls or something

Like the worst part about this quest is that its so good , like I genuinely enjoyed this video, but the en voice acting hasn't gotten better at all and the shore keeper sounds briish and it drags it down
the reason dub usually sucks is literally because its all Americans. Having characters with accents makes a dub so much more special and unique, her voice is good in general too.
Her quest defined her . If you paid attention to the quest this was way better in terms of voice acting, emotional exchange and visuals then past quest lines and also other games a Huge step up from Kuro . You will see her differently as a character after this quest .

The pre rendered cutscene at 2:42:38 was automatically skipped for me for some reason ingame.
