Oh, yeah. They have done Broly. It's Bojack that I've been waiting on since they've been building him up inside King Kai's Planet. If it were to come out, it would probably be the next thing. I wonder if they'll incorporate Pikkon and all that good stuff. Is Pikkon canon in Super, by any chance?

Important note: The Abridged movies all exist in one canon. Most of them reference previous ones. Certain changes in the main series are referenced in movies that come “later”, so it is somewhat important to watch things in the proper order if you want to get the jokes.
I'm pretty sure for DBZA, it's all the same canon - movies and episodes alike. They even reference the episodes in some of the movies, like in Broly when someone asks "what about Cell," and Vegeta says "Fuck him."

@@i_booba They probably decided to keep the movies non-canon because canon Broly is a thing, if they ever get to Super.
Doesn't mean they won't make more references to the fact that its non-canon and they should be taking care of canon threats instead of randomly being in the Arctic, for example.
As a side note, I recommend watching in the the abridged release order, they build jokes and reference older material, this should have came a bit later.
Apparently they watched all of them on patreon but released this one and not the others yet.
So they either released them in wrong order or watched them in wrong order...sigh...lol

You guys missed at least 50% of the jokes due to talking over them. TFS Abridged videos are densely packed with humor/references/etc and most reaction channels end up missing half the humor due to talking. I think Blind Wave is the only channel who do it right.

Rough Gamer That's the sad thing about reaction youtubers, they have to react, even at the cost of missed content, jokes, and/or references. For what I've gathered from this specific YT channel the guy on the far right is the only one that's watch all the abridged content and he keeps pointing out things that the rest of the crew misses, which happens often.

I guess TFS did these movies in their own order (Because of Nail at the start) but I always placed the Lord Slug movie somewhere *right* before Goku went to Namek, as his proto-super saiyan form just seemed like a precursor to actually becoming Super Saiyan later, even though none of these movies actually fit the DBZ canon, you can often roughly place them in a timeline.

They just uploaded episode 22 which mentioned Slug as Super Kami Guru's brother. Also I think this is the second movie that TFS produced (Dead Zone and The World's Strongest were made a few years after). Tree of Might was the first, but TFS made that into a Christmas special so they might be saving it for Christmas

Have you guys done tree of might or the earlier movies? Out of order is not recommended! Tfs puts the movies into their canon continuity. Use their abridged playlist to see when to watch each one

@@lioryimer5136 No one is telling them that they can't speak. But having a conversation during the movie makes no sense whatsoever. Maybe if you've seen more of their reactions to other shows, you would realize how often they do it.

I HIGHLY suggest watching Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged, it's the first ever abrideged series and it's hilarious. The first season hasnt aged the best but the rest is absolutely phenomenal. The creater of Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged also voices Freiza.

Merilirem we watched these all out of order and haven’t even seen dead zone or tree or might. This wasn’t even up for early access for patrons either I released on TH-cam first. The first 3 movies will be out of order and whack. But we will fix it after that.

Shaquille Cox No. That movie should be watched after the Freeza arc, since it references jokes from that arc. Dead Zone should also be saved for after Namek. They skipped (Christmas) Tree of Might.
Whenever I see scenes like this, it makes me wonder how powerful Krillin's Kame Hame Ha is. It's note quite as powerful as Goku's obviously, but he uses it so rarely that I think maybe It's almost too powerful for him. Like it's power can actually rival Goku's but Krillin doesn't have the depth of power Goku has and he keeps it for surprises.
Despite the fact that Krillin gets owned a lot his Energy beam attacks are always extremely powerful. I mean Even Goku wouldn't try to stop a destructo disc/
At the time when the destructo disk was actually a dangerous move up until the cell saga. And Krillin's kamehameha is only as strong as him he isn't extremely powerful. Goku would have to lower his power greatly to equal krillins. They have control over how much energy they put into attacks so nothing they use is too strong for themself

A lot of simple things are so hard for The Normies. Watching something in an order. Forgetting to upload a whole reaction. Forgetting to turn mics on quite often. Having the audio of the footage too loudly so we can't hear you when you talk over the dialogue. Losing reaction footage relatively often. Going out of sync for your editors because of an ad, instead of downloading the episode first and making life for your editor far easier. Their schedule is also pure crap because they binge episodes of certain shows once a month and then forget everything about it a month later when they watch it again. Or they simply just don't understand simple storytelling or watch DBZA without having fully watched the original series and not getting at least 40% of the references.
Don't watch deadzone at least until the end of the frieza arc. The ending they came up with won't make sense otherwise
Also I don't know if it was just me but some of the talking wasn't very loud compared to the abridged even though you shouldn't be talking during the episode. Maybe it is just me but the audio sounded kinda wonky....

You can notice them say in a lot of reactions that it has been a long time. While for us it was just a week. They are so weird. They also upload reactions out of order. With El Camino without Hanna before uploading the final episodes of Breaking Bad with Hanna. And this DBZA movie before even seeing the end of the Namek arc and Piccolo fusing with Nail + the whole joke around that. Now they're just witnessing Piccolo talking with Nail with no context. While screwing up the order of all other movies in the continuity. Only reaction channel that does these weird and really dumb things.

i know a lot of people disliked the actual Lord Slug film, but i'm personally one of the few people that thought it was...okay. no, it's not ground breaking or anything, but compared to a trilogy that had a villain with a laughably dumb backstory in contrast to his tone in the film (until they fixed him with Super) who pretty much was just the more duller parts of dragonball manifested into one shallow character (over-the-top violence, curbstomping, power level dick measuring contests, and muscles.), who got pissed on & beat up by children, and turned into a sludge monster (i'm not kidding, this is all real, people.) and a sequel to a film that ripped off other good source material, had terrible animation & a plot full of so many holes, Swiss Cheese would say it's too much, and a film that just butchered a well known character for the sake of profit, this film isn't too bad.
unoriginal, yeah, but hey, we get some decent fights, wonderful animation, and an interesting weakness that appears in the form of whistling. so yeah, not really good, not too bad, just...okay.
