- On September 21, 2012 The Twisters got together in Torrance California at Keegans Pub and played a few songs. All Original members but one. This was a 30th reunion just thrown together quickly to coincide with the 30th Reunion of The Sweetwater Cafes of Redondo Beach, California show on September 22, 2012 at the Hermosa auditorium. The Twisters played live shows at Sweetwater Cafe 360 plus times from the late 70's until it closed. This was unofficially called the Red Headed Stepchild Reunion Show. The Band still has that hard edged get um Dancing,Dr. Feelgood,Rock n Roll sound that made them one of the biggest Los Angeles area Original New Wave Rock Bands of the 80's. They packed every L.A. venue they played like the Whiskey,Starwood,Country Club,Madame Wongs East and West,Music Machine,Troubadour and of course Sweetwater for five plus years. Long may they Live in our hearts,minds and souls.

Thank you sooo much for sharing this! I was unable to go to this but I would have loved to see them! My high school hired them a few times for dances and I absolutely loved them -even bought their album. :)
