Guy seems funny, but yeah , subtitles. I'm only catching 1/2 the words and getting none of the references.
When I first found him I could barely make out anything he said unless I was paying like 100% attention and even then it could be spotty. After I listened to him a bunch now though it's going much better.

@@sfdntk No. I like the stuff he does on the telly and radio but this was just boring. And the replies to heckles were just generic abuse. I might have thought about seeing him live but I wouldn’t now.

@@sfdntk Well it is the first time I’ve seen him perform - in this context - as it happens. I get his humour when I’ve watched New World Order for example. Or if he’s been on Radio 4 on the News Quiz or The Unbelievable Truth. Which is why I started to watch!!! I was disappointed this live act wasn’t very interesting- at least the first 10 minutes weren’t and I have better things to do. Call me thick if you want but if I’m doing something I don’t enjoy and I’m not being paid for it I stop.
