  • I was misled when I got my fat tire bike. Find out if these bikes float in the snow?...have enough traction?...go fast?...have enough shock absorption? Are they fun?

Adventures In Reach (AIR) hopes to expand what adventures are possible for you, teach the skills to help make that happen, inspire you to get out of a rut, and increase your confidence outdoors. We encourage you to challenge yourself and try something new, from a backyard adventure to an expedition. Although all outdoor adventures are fair game, AIR generally focuses on small sailboat or Sunfish sailboat sailing and camping, rappelling, knots, ropes, hammock camping, outdoor adventures with dogs, compass orienteering, canoeing, wilderness travel, outdoor gear, camping, hiking, and cold weather camping and survival.

That depends what you're looking for...distance, speed, a workout, long or short prep time, cost, optimal conditions.......

I agree, a fat tire bike will get you outdoors in the winter and that's a good thing.

Absolutely. The best part is being able to access different areas than normal when you have the right conditions.

Youll still slide here and there, but fat tires are awesome. My ebike is equipped with em and i can rock through almost six inches of snow with very little concern

I bet an e-fat bike would make a big difference. That would be fun to try.
