For me, the great element for a sci fi element. This is true for any form of entertainment. Be it video games, tabletop, movies, books, or tv shows. Does it have a great story? If you have a story that brings entertainment, then you'll have a good time.

It's true that laser pistols do fire damage. If you download Navasi's pregen character sheet, however, she uses an Advanced Semi-Auto Pistol (analog/reload traits) that deals 2d6 P. And in her character art, you can see her loading a bullet into her gun.
@@aett that's true for the 1st level Navasi character sheet. The 5th level pregen of her includes an advanced laser pistol as well an advanced semi-auto pistol. The one-shot they're running is 5th level.

I'd be down for that but would love for Troy to run it, he really had the setting down pat imo, even with half the players hating the system & the other half not knowing how to play it lol

SCavengers Reign is just so crazy, awesome.all the ridiculous things that the creators thought of in the show are so cool. My favorite scene was the people getting into the sea creature when a storm was approaching because the eggs are placed in there for safety .then the creatures that eat those eggs, knowing the storm is the dinner bell, show up and climb in for the easy nom noms Holy moly, soo freaking insane.
Brian Aldiss does alot of that anthropological type writing. Ah just too much good stuff in this one to comment about. Would love to see a long campaign!
This got me so hyped! Is Starfinder 2e gunna be on Foundry? And is it compatible with Pathfinder on Foundry? Or are they treated as separate game systems on there?
Soooo once upon a time in a Starfinder game I played in one player insisted on being Captain and did have the superior abilities, but was being pig headed about it. I said sure, but before he knew it I got the ship registered in my name. He did not like running a ship I owned, but could not argue with the fact I thought of it first lol
Scavengers reign is amazing. It felt like some of the most original sci-fi visually. So in love. HBO is SOOOO BAD at advertising and Soo good at cancelling good shows
