I love Vigilante! I played a whole ton of it at the local Pizza place way back when. I loved it so much that I picked it up for my TurboGrafx.
It must be pretty nice on the TurboGrafx... always wanted one of those when I was younger! Until I get more practice in, I'm going to rate this game quickly: "Good contols and graphics, but very difficult, along with a steep learning curve"...

Excellent choice as always Matt. I always enjoy the sound effects when you attack an enemy. Make you feel like your doing to in person bro. 8^)

Thank you! These digitized sound effects definitely give a great feel when landing an attack! I think I need to balance out the volumes of the different sound processors (as the games sounds drowns out all of my cabinets when it's running!!). Will be playjng this one a bit more to see if I can get any better at it. Thanks for the comment!

It's amazing, but true that the genre had such a low count at the time - There was Double Dragon though... POW is one I played only a little of, but I'll try get it up and running soon ! Thanks for the tip!
The crazy thing about Vigilante is that if you managed to finish the game with one credit, and you rescue Madonna, it's not enough to be first on the hiscore list!!
Haha! Those "fake" factory high scores again! Reminds me of City Connection! Haha!!
