Let's Play Traverse USA !

Episode 225: Welcome to Arcade Sunday, all you Arcade game fans and home arcade game owners out there! In this video, I play through a few stages of the Arcade game Traverse USA (also known as Zippy Race and ALSO known as Motorace USA!). I offer gameplay advice and some of my strategies in order to navigate this game. It's not a particularly difficult game, but offers stress relief with it's slightly lower paced gameplay - something that we need these days I think, what with so many bullet hell shooters and fast paced racers out there !

Hmmm. Why does this game ring a bell. I must've played it sometime in my life Matt. Oh well, it will come to me eventually. Excellent gameplay and review as always bro. 8^)

Thanks ! There is another game from this time period that looks very similar to this, and it's called "Kick Rider". I will probably roll out a video one day showing that off, but this game was the original (from what I remember!) Cheers for now!

This looks very familiar, I have a feeling I may have had a port of this on my ZX Spectrum As I don't remember playing this in the arcade But definitely somewhere, Great game mate, Well played it's a lot of fun

I have no doubt that this was released on the Speccy back in the day! I did not see this game very often (in the Arcades I frequented) as it was quite old (as far as Arcade games go!) so by the time I'd stared my Arcade "career" proper, the cabinets had all been swapped out for new, shiny games... Such a relaxing game to play.
