Modernized versions of the K car would sell better than the stuff in the video here. People want a good, serviceable, appropriately appointed car that begins at $20,000 and up to maybe $35,000 for a well appointed model.
41 year old man, with around $350k income. I bought my Tesla MYP for $58k out the door this year. That was an insane amount of money I thought, as the most expensive car I had bought previously was my 2016 BMW 330i w/ sports package at $30k, got it 2 years old with 7k miles on it. Can someone please tell me who is paying $100k+ for Jeeps? These people must have million dollars plus salaries, theres’s no other explanation. These are eye watering prices.
Just like luxury German cars, I suspect the "payment shoppers" are leasing, or just taking out huge car noteswith huge payments, and they aren't saving for retirement. At your income level, I'm sure you know that if you don't max a 401k and IRA, you can find a lot of extra cash to fritter away on monthly payments...
Right now if you bought that GW KBB values it at $80k. That a $45k hit the second you pull out of the lot lol. 3 years when all the leases are up it will be worth in the low 30s.

I didn't even want to talk numbers anymore when they said the warranty can't be removed.

One of the major problems is that NA automakers think they can position their products in the luxury category, which ultimately fails to cater to their usual crowd. There are luxury brands that can command the price stellantis is asking for but with the quality you can't expect from stellantis for that price.
RAMS Lifetime LIMITED engine warranty is a joke, in the fine print its really around 60k miles. I was lucky to be able to get the Lifetime factory bumper to bumper warranty on my 2018 RAM. 135k miles- 1 transmission, 1 top end rebuild, and countless electrical issues the cost has paid for itself

Wait, wait, wait. The Wagoneer was developed under the FCA banner. People tend to forget this. Like I've said multiple times, the ship was starting to take on water well before Stellantis was formed.
Ridiculous how expensive it is. NO NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. outrageous .
I really can't understand the idea behind making Jeep Waggoneers that cost over $100k. There was a similar instance a few decades ago when Volkswagen produced a car called the Phaeton that was a beautiful, well appointed luxury car that cost as much as a Mercedes. But no matter how beautiful and luxurious it was, it wasn't a Mercedes. To produce Jeep products as costly as Range Rover is equally as ridiculous. No matter how beautiful and luxurious a Waggoneer is, it isn't a Range Rover. There just isn't the "prestige" in the Jeep name for that. If they want to make an SUV to rival the luxury brands, they should have come out with a new luxury brand not use the Jeep brand. This was a self-inflicted disaster.
If dealers make more money in service than sales, then why wouldn't they embrace a model where customers buy direct from the manufacturer and simply take delivery at the service and delivery center? The manufacturer would pay the center for costs incurred involving delivery and inspection, and that's it. Downsize the real estate footprint (no need for massive parking lots) and expand the service bays. Tesla is halfway there but is woefully short in the service area. Why are we still buying cars the same way we did in 1920?
There is a Jeep Dealer down the street from me and those Half electric Wranglers do not move. I drove one as a rental it made a loud noise like the drive shaft was falling out and that was brand new 24 . 50-60k
Even the different driving modes. I thought they were useful. Outside towing. I use only normal. For wet and snow. I just changed to a different tire and those were pointless modes. Yet. They make us pay high dollar for that technology. How many people really use them is what I would like to know. All of the extra technology to me is pointless. Yet. They are extremely expensive. Do people really use any or all of that technology?
Considering some of these dealers still have "new" 2023's on their lot (and I use that term loosely, I wouldn't consider that new anymore even if I was the first owner), I don't know how they get out of this inventory problem. All they have to have is the right insider decision makers. This is the key to everything. Its been going on for decades. This is why the WEF exists...

Also, those COVID YOLO people who have less money than sense and bought cars at $20K markup just cause they got a little extra money from the government.

Carlos was paid 40 million to kill the brand. It is all according to plan.
Exactly who's going to pay over 100 grand for a Jeep that car on it's very best day fully loaded is 60 grand at the most and that's pushing it they need to get with reality and stop living in this fantasy world that's not working for them anymore they are slowly but surely going to collapse. I was with the dream and Dodge ram for so long I am not any longer they're ridiculous and what makes it worse is their management is the worst in history and that's how it's going to go down goodbye
Yes we've known for 2 years bro
I love the way your destroying these guys 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Stellantis created their own clown world.
The most expensive vehicle on that lot is worth at most 46K and that’s a huge maybe…….
How does a Grand Wagoneer cost like 30K more than a Corvette?
They are smoking some good stuff because they can't think right😂.
For $125k i can get a nice c7 corvette and good mileage 2022 camry for the daily
$50,000 is to much for ANY Stellantis product with their quality!
Yeah but theres no analysis im seeing about why the prices have skyrocketed. People who cant think clearly are going to avoid the obvious conversation. Theyre not just trying to get rid of gas cars...they want personal transportation gone completely. 15 minute cities intend to make everything you need a walk...or public transport. All they have to have is the right insider decision makers. This is the key to everything. Its been going on for decades. This is why the WEF exists...
The people to blame are those TH-cam car "reviewers" who are just basically making brochures for the carmakers and always looking for changes each model year and new features and technology, expensive, not practical and not sustainable. Also, those COVID YOLO people who have less money than sense and bought cars at $20K markup just cause they got a little extra money from the government.
This kind of failure is intentionally done.
