After the recent news with Spider-Man, decided to get back to work with some brand new Spider-Themed videos! (Been gone for a bit, but back for just for awhile, to make sure everything is okay in the future.)
Xander Berkley *IS* Mysterio, the incantations and mannerisms are spot on and unlike others he doesn't need effects or filters for his voice. Of the filtered voices, David Kaye is the best, he gets better with every performance and has grown quite well into the role. As for live action, Jake Gyllenhaal was incredible for Mysterio's long awaited live action debut. The illusions he pulled off in "Far From Home" were truly befitting of the character. Paul Scheer works for the "reformed" Mysterio we saw in Ultimate Spider-Man, and Tom Kenny could easily take to the role if he got more material and direction.
TWO DIFFERENT Optimus Primes and Megatrons, too! David Kaye did both, Peter Cullen did Optimus Prime in most stuff, and Fred Tatasciore voiced him in the WFC games!
Also Dad, Jorgen Von Strangle, Gordy from Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, and that other janitor from Big Time Rush! My mind is BLOWN that Daran Norris, Tom Kenny, and the others voice one of my favorite villains, Mysterio! My most memorable voice is Daran Norris as him in the old PS1 game. That game’s part of my childhood. ☺️
