Hello Martin, my congratulations on your "extension of stay", great news! Interesting video, I'm still struggling to understand why the dealers don't use ice more commonly to cool their food and I've also never seen a customer carry a cooling bag to bring the purchased food home. Especially meat, even minced pork meat or poultry is not cooled adequately and this with the high air temperature in Thailand. This is unbelievable under the German hygienic standard enforced by the law (uninterrupted cooling chain). I also suspect that there are no sell-by dates on most market foods, so how do they keep track of what can still be sold safely or is this really all sold by the end of the day? Or is all this compensated for by the preparation e.g. all the meat is fried to death (charcoal) in Thailand or do the people have a much more stable gastrointestinal tract? Why isn't this dangerous for the tourists? LG Juergen
