    11:30 Sometimes the voice in your head just knows. QQ were good when you folded. But that river had other ideas.

    the K8 suited reminds me of a 6-hour session where, after being up about $1000 in a 2/3/5 NL game, i hit a full house on the turn only to be rivered by pocket Qs and then the same dealer cracked my flopped K88 on the river against pocket 10s … well that’s poker

    Good video. I'm a new subscriber. Brandon, it is ok to get bluffed sometimes, When they show lots of strength your one pair even AA is not good.

    Sick fold with the KQ was rooting for you to make that one. Your read on him tanking the flop is very relevant. He played it bad though for sure by three betting you. If he just called your raise were you going to value bet clean rivers?

    • @BrandonSligh
      @BrandonSligh  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      thx for the comment!
      yea if played differently i for sure would have been giving him a lot more of my stack on the river lol long as its a good one as you said

    Kq at 37.00....Idk if you have to call river. Yes you have good blockers to stuff but he's rarely getting out of line in that spot imo

      In a HU match ill call this all day. Plus he's a reg I was alrdy playing with all day who was capable of bluffing

    QsQd vs AKss hand: You have to wonder if AA KK JJ TT JTs would jam turn after a 1/3 cbet on flop. Not very often IMO. Also, you looked very uncomfortable facing the 4bet. Not being critical. Just sayin. Its a tough spot for a good thinking player... can't beat any of the broadway pocket pairs.

    • @BrandonSligh
      @BrandonSligh  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Uncomfortable because it was a shot take, however not uncomfortable because of the exact hand. I like the fold and still stand by it even after seeing his exact cards

    Sincere criticism here, and full disclosure, I watched the first two hands only, your video is titled "Mistakes to avoid". What exactly were your mistakes? It would have been more helpful if you had elaborated on this. But you got a Like , Cheers

    • @BrandonSligh

      Mistakes can come down to poorly played hands from my end or opponents end, also there are skills to gain from hands that are executed and played well. this is all about perspective
