@@mikewilliams3509 lol it was soooo rough what they did, but we see what happens during the playoffs. giants been having a rough year though but a lot of my friends are giants fans
13:20 I think the check back on the river was good there with AQ, you don't want to over play your hand/ potentially put yourself in a tough spot. Though if I had 2 pair or a set I'd go maybe 150$ to Induce the opponent to bluff, then just snap call any jam
What’s up dude! That last hand j7 suited, open with a raise and c bet flop and big bet on the turn, I really need to learn how to do that. I’m mostly folding that hand pre flop and definitely checking it down if I stay in. I gotta break my scared money habits and start making moves like that
What's up! Yea its an interesting spot. Obviously cannot do this all the time postflop but for preflop that just comes with knowing ranges to play pre. Way easier to get preflop down than postflop though as it takes a lot of work to know different plays that can be made. Got to put in the work 🙂🙂

Shit man I’m not gonna lie without AQ hand I think in the end it’s always best to play it safe, especially with that pot margin compared to what you got left behind. I always think AQ is second best because you got AK to beat if you don’t get your queen. Then it came down to position if you want to do any bit and he were to come over to top or go all in. didn’t like the situation I’ve been in before you either fill pot committed because you got so much invested or you fold lick your wounds add on and go to the next hand
With the J7hh hand your range hits the Q very hard. You DO NOT need to to over bet. you can bet 1/2-3/4 pot on turn and fold almost all hands. When you overbet the turn your risking too much and when the play doesn't work and you find a capable opponent, you will get called down by J10, KJ, AQ and your dead to all those hands on the turn. Granted, we're trying to fold those hands out, but when your called for that sizing, you can never win on the river.
@@BrandonSligh they can but run it through GTO Wizard or Pio. It almost never happens in theory, meaning it's not happening in practice EVER lol of course you can win on the river but when they call 150% turn barrel, and you have J7hh, your almost always dead.
Im so sick of poker lol... especially online and its just been brutal... its not even the money its the fact i cant make a hand or the other guy hits his draws so ive been losing every race
Where do you usually play at online? And poker is a complex game. It takes a while to get better. Just have to stay positive as possible and put in the work to improve 🙂
I play on PokerStars nj .. I've been playing on and off for a long time now I'm 43 so I've also played before the international got screwed .. what was it called black Friday or Monday.. and I only play 1 table so it's not like I'm getting out of line but to be honest plo has been fast money and that works both ways
@@mikewilliams3509 o wow you have access to a really good pool! I am in NJ too so i know how it is, trust me the game is extremely easy lol. i personally dont play on pokerstarsnj but i play on betmgm and wsop ALOT since i moved here

@@BrandonSligh I'll start by using your words from the video, "It's not a made hand." AK suited is a very pretty hand. However, most overplay it. Most will 3-4 bet it preflop. Would you 4bet 76 suited preflop? I'm not. Cause at best you hit 1/3 of the time with AK but, you're 3 betting and Definitely calling a 4bet every time and Way too many ppl donk off their stack going All-in preflop Also, if you do play it more like 10 9, 9 8, 8 7 suited when you do hit you get paid bigger more often. Because they prevailing play right now is to play them as if they're Aces or Kings. I especially, find great success doing this playing tournaments. And, over the last year it's worked very well in cash too. GTO can be exploited and this is one effective way.
@michaelkazz yea I say that because it's how everyone describes it to play it a certain way. It's a special hand and needs to be played a certain way (just like AQ). Not sure I agree with getting paid bigger to be honest but to each their own. There's more than one way to look at poker and certain hands 🙂🙂

Just found your channel, really enjoyed the gameplay and commentary! Subbed and looking forward to seeing more!
Glad you found it and are enjoying it so far! Thanks for the sub!
I like the river check back with AQ vs K10 spades. Pot was good size for your holding. Solid.
Set over set is so brutal.
Definitely is
Wish I played ak aq as strong as you. It gets you in trouble sometimes but it generally long term seems like a winning play. Nice hands
Thanks! Yea its usually better to play them strong however you have to know how to navigate some spots as well 🙂

Really depends on the Sim and parameters, that can affect the result so always keep that in mind
But yes if they call I am behind

@blakeengland7784 na what I mean is different parameters can give different results on the Sim, not saying what u ran is wrong

Play AK like you'd play 10 9 and you'll save a lot of money.
