Why thank you, I want to mention that I had a problem getting the key to the other key fob cut. I recommend taking the metal key out of the plastic key fob case when taking to get it cut.

@@kachiskid I believe they make their own gy6 version. Everything is stamped with Kymco. If I'm not mistaken they were partnered with Honda back in the days. I have a 2015 Kymco Agility 50. It's not the fastest but it's very comfy. It's a full size bike with 12inch wheels. Tops out at 40mph. I like it. I like it better than my old Accord. Lol

Good question, if you disarm it correctly. Making sure that the fuel gauge zeros out, then a week or more. I tender my bike in a garage, so I only use the alarm during a run to the store.

I would make sure you have the plug in on your bike. Also make sure you double kill the bike when you don't want it armed, it will run down the battery if not. Make sure the gas gauge goes to E.
I purchased a similar one last year. Different looking remote, but, same features with electric start and such. My bike does not have the open plug in the front, although I have noticed a lot do. I couldn't find a wiring diagram, so, I have it connected to the battery terminals for just the alarm. Which works. But, do you have any ideas where the other wires go if I wanted full use?

The end of that cable should have a jumper box on it currently, might be grey in color. Trace all your cables that are coming from the neck of your scooter. One lead should not be connect to anything. What year is your scooter?
You can use the stock exhaust no matter what you upgrade, some scoots hate to have a performance exhaust installed, and the owner has no choice but to put the stock back on. The damn weather stopped my progress but I am making my own exhaust right now. Got a pipe for cheap directly from China, and I am getting a great looking slip on exhaust you would find on a motorcycle. Stay tuned, I should install it right after Christmas. Also throwing my free flow air filter back on, but I need warmer weather to tune it.
Sorry Max, I don't remember, what type of bike is it? If you have a radiator then you don't want to remove it. Anything over 180cc I would have a radiator also. My next build I will be adding one with a corresponding engine. I really want to build a 232cc.

Boy oh boy, that a lot of stuff, How many miles do you have on her now? Get the alarm system right away you will love it and have piece of mind. Also I recommend changing the fuel lines......as far as the rollers, what's it doing now as far as speed, and what do you want it to do? Are you able to read your RPM's? (Do you have a tach?) Wait on dippin' the scooter unless you absolutely hate the color right now. I got a bigger carb. on mine (26mm) looking at a 30mm on Amazon, when I finish my exhaust. But putting a bigger carb. on a stock scooter will show no speed increases.

@@mrbrowfromthehole Yeah, unfortunately the seats on are bikes are not interchangeable. Soon I will be replacing my seat because it is broken. I am taking the new seat to be reupholstered. There they will be able to add foam to change the shape of the seat. That would be my recommendation. My seat had a little separation hump that I sit on, but your seat has an actual small butt/back rest.

Gotta ? On that 2019 Tao Tao quantum does everything but no remote start for some reason! Took off the jumper & plugged it in flash the lights & set the alarm that's it bought it for the remote start 🙂 my luck .

Great video. This was the same for my 2014 VIP. I recommend keeping the jumper plug just in case the alarm fails in the future.

I don't think so...check another sparkplug, the CDI, the coil, and the stator needs to be checked for a "no spark" problem.

No some have to be hard wired, but the wiring comes with it.

I bet motorcycle thieves use this alarm start up thing to start the bike up without a key. Boom easy key with no lock thingi removed.
If they want it, they are gonna take it. Once they touch my bike the alarm goes off. Then there are the "hot ones"

@@GamingtoDeath Yeah, I was shocked when I found out that I could ride the bike without the key in the ignition at all. Oh..so once it is stolen, they don't just change the ignition out with a new one. That's just lazy...lol.
