    The weather must not be that bad, from the way you dressed. It was 47 here in Phoenix yesterday.
    This is similar to prata or murtabak in Singapore. It's called murtabak when it's stuffed with meat etc. Prata can also be stuffed with cheese, chocolate etc. I prefer my prata with sambal (chilli paste as the dip).
    Ghee is made from butter (cow milk).
    Looking forward to check this place out. Maybe we can try it with sambal when I get there next month.
    Thank you for making this video 🙏

      @Gventures  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No, it's hot. I'd like to walk around in a swimsuit but I can't do that here 🤣
      Yes I've been to Singapore, great dishes out there as well 👍
      I did discover after talking about it in the video that ghee is not vegan, I looked it up and then wrote that info in the bottom of the screen, because even if I don't know what I'm talking about it the moment, I like to keep people educated/informed 🤣

    Thank you for sharing, I will definitely try it out on my trip during the next few weeks ☺️ About ghee, because you mentioned it and maybe want to know - Ghee is not vegan but vegetarian. It is sort of clarified butter but has no lactose in it. It is produced from butter (cow milk)

    -Hey, I highly recommend U visit Al-Ismaailia Mango Festival on 18-19 August if U like Mango. Egypt is producing +100 kinds of Mangos. Just go and enjoy exploring the Egyptian mangos at its season before it's exported. Egyptian mangos have no like around the world.

    Not related to this video, but I recently read about a new ticketing system that requires a card ( not a bank card) for most sites. Could you please do a video on this n where these cards can be purchased? In past have always just bought ticket at office n paid with le. Is this still possible? Cheers Giselle

    • @Gventures
      @Gventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have no idea what you're talking about. I do like to make videos about things I'm familiar with and things I think will be useful to people. Because I have no idea what you're talking about, I'm not sure how relevant it is (at the moment). Care to elaborate about this ticketing system you're talking about? What sites? Egyptian websites? Like for booking bus tickets or food delivery or what do you mean? I haven't heard of it. Cash is still king here.

    Hi. When might that banking video be coming? Long term residents, as also I am considering becoming one, would be interested in that. The route of Western Union and their bankster buddies might not be the best way to do banking in Egypt.
    Did you ever consider the $700 five year Residence/Visa?
    Enjoying your every vid. Take care.

    • @Gventures
      @Gventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have no plans on making any bank video, when did I ever say I was going to do that? I have not been successful on getting an Egyptian bank account so I have no reason to make a video about it.
      I was considering the 5 year visa, until I learned it only allows you to stay 90 days at a time and then you must exit the country. But thanks for watching! And if I ever do manage to get a bank account here, maybe I'll make a video about that. Honestly though, my videos are more geared to people visiting the country, not expats. I think there are better channels for expats, people who have been living here longer and have more information about stuff than I do, because I really haven't been here long compared to most expats.
